Day 5
I got to experience this today. I could feel my body struggling with the excess chocolate I ate yesterday.
I also changed up my breathing rhythm. For the last 4 days, I did something along the lines of; 5 seconds in, 3 seconds hold, 4 seconds out. Today I mixed that with simple slow in-and-out breathing - no holding. This made focusing on "the space in which thoughts arise" easier.
This brings me to an old suspicion I had, but abandoned as a kid - and it's that I randomly hold my breath throughout the day and it is contributing to my restlessness. Meditation should help with breath awareness, so let's see where it takes me.
What you ate the day before will impact your session the next morning.
