For the past few years, I've tried a bunch of business models: dropshipping, web design, Chrome extensions, etc. But the one thing I always think about, always come back to, is YouTube.
I've been doing it since I was 13 (I'm 19 now), monetised 2 gaming YouTube channels, built a history shorts channel, experimented with geopolitical content & even shitty AI-generated content.
But I was doing it for the money. These were ideas I jumped into because of the cesspit that is Twitter, instead of focusing on the very crux of entrepreneurship, which is providing value.
That was until I started my fitness channel. I started documenting a 90-day transformation, posting videos, because of pure enjoyment and the sense of fulfilment and purpose it gave me. For the first time, I wasn't chasing views, and I was in love with the process.
As for monetisation, I knew ad revenue, sponsorships, and affiliates are bs. Again, no value.
Then I discovered a yt channel which broke down Skool communities; honestly, I was hooked. I genuinely think Skool + YouTube combined is a goldmine. And I'll go into more detail and break down the business model in later posts.
Also, I'm not a generic, typical fitness channel. I spent hours deliberating on how to make my positioning, content and message valuable, and I think I've nailed the foundation.
