Rhode Island for now.
I read Unscripted a few weeks ago. Pretty dense, but, as MJ said at the start... he had a lot of get off his chest. I quite liked it (not just to be polite, I really did). Just tells it like it is.

As someone who has never used social media, doesn't have a TV, doesn't vote or care about the news/politics and focuses on what's important to me - it really resonates with my lifestyle and business choices.

Loaned it to my girlfriend, who just finished it today in fact. She has been surprised how much she has taken from it too.

--
The one thing it has done, is to really make me take a look at my own business. I have been really happy in my business for many years. I'm 34 now, and have had the itch to move on to a larger business. Try my hand outside of my little industry...

Unscripted has helped call me on my life in my own little fishbowl. I'm ready to move on to the next thing. Success or failure, I am not meant to stay where I am (even though my business keeps growing and my life is good!). It's time, and Unscripted helped me realize that.

Hey yeah, so I finished "Unscripted " last week. I bought it on Audible and listened to it on my commute. I had just revisited TMF the month before. Really couldn't get enough of it! Fantastic book and one that's going to be played again and again. Highly suggest everyone gets themselves a copy and share it with a friend.

I read Unscripted , and appreciated the expansion of principles from MFL and clear explanations of topics. Unfortunately, the excessive use of unnecessary expletives severely reduced my enjoyment of the book. I did love the content though.

Just finished this book in under a week. I couldn't put it down and i honestly believe you wrote a better book this go around than the millonaire fastlane, which is a favorite of mine.

Damn - I read it on my Kindle - and I wish I would have bought the physical copy. Guess I'm buying it again! I'm an avid reader, and not many authors get me to buy multiple copies of the same work!

As mentioned in my introduction post I found a copy of Unscripted on a train.

The funny thing is that I walk around now look at everything in a different way. It certainly challenges the way you were brought up to see things. It is almost as if a weight has been removed that I was unaware was even there.

Feeling slightly guilty that I joined this Forum without actually having paid for the book I have ordered both this and The Fastlane Millionaire and plan to leave the copy of Unscripted I found on the next train I go on. Maybe trains should have little borrowing libraries like many pubs now have. Anyway it will be on the Reading to Waterloo line. :smile2:

I look forward to reading Fastlane when it arrives.

Dan

Definitely a one two combo to “TMF ”. I’ve enjoyed reading both these books and since have been on a book ordering spree. I plan on re-reading both books until they’ve officially sunk in.

Finished listening to Unscripted on Audible. Very valuable timely update to Fastlane. Particularly found the CENTS section pertinent to starting a new business. "There are no rules." There's no magic paint by numbers to solving problems. Unscripted . I'm finally getting it. Thanks MJ.

Now that there's several hundred out there in the wild, guess it is time to start a thread for those of you who have read (or listened to!) UNSCRIPTED !

Hope everyone enjoyed it and found it to be a good "big picture" supplement for The Millionaire Fastlane !

I have read both books but Unscripted really shifted me from a money mindset to a Value mindset--just need to figure out what value I can provide

Hi there

This is my first post in the forum (I will introduce myself shortly). Man - did I love this book. Of course, I have recommended it to many friends and family members...but more importantly I have my wife reading it now, for us to be on the same page as we move together into a different and much more exciting future.

@MJ DeMarco Thank you for writing such an excellent guide to sticking it to the man.

I listened to the audio version at work a few weeks ago. While it wasn't as revolutionary for me as TMF was I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Dissapointed that MJ didn't narrate this version too. Lazy bum

I just finished listening to unscripted . It took me almost six months. I only listened to it when I got stuck in ruts. I will listen to chapters again over the course of these coming weeks. Too much valuable information not to listen to at least a few more times.

Thank You,
Mack.

When will the book be translated into other languages?

Yes, but it's a slow process.

The only place it is available at the moment is Korea (it's a #1 national best-seller there) and Estonia and Thai is underway.

I have an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship (waste of time and money). I have a huge and unhealthy addiction to self help books (85% waste of time). I stated that to say that I'm well-versed in the study of entrepreneurship and Unscripted is the best course on entrepreneurship that I've ever come across. Actually, it's more like a self-encased entrepreneurship curriculum.

Yes! Love to hear it!

As mentioned in my introduction post I found a copy of Unscripted on a train.

Hmm, wonder if someone forgot it, or hated it!?

Dissapointed that MJ didn't narrate this version too. Lazy bum

Ha Ha, I considered it, but didn't like the 2021 release date.
