so what's the lesson to learn here ?

i gave you all i had , the entire 2944 dollars and i left

i came back to see that i got 3010 dollars in return while expecting nothing at all

there is a very important lesson to learn here


when you can give away all you have for a vision, a goal , a higher cause
and you really don't care whether you will win or not because you just have to do it anyway, unexpected results will hapen



this is the Barnes story in think and grow rich

the guy stood there before Edison saying that he had come to win !!

the guy didn't say to himself " what if Edison rejects me ? where will i sleep after this trip ? "

the guy said : i am here to win and i really don't care what Edison will think of that

the guy was not acting like he coudn't care less

the guy really couldn't care less what Edison would say about that


so he won

the guy is unbelievable, and even maybe crazy as well.

he doesn't care about political correctness and he insults his followers as well !

It's actually an Irish Proverb but Andy's Irish so why not?
Dayum. I didn't even know it was an Irish proverb. It's actually a PC version of what I used to say when I was looking after mission critical IT systems:

"Nothing's so f*cked up we can't f*ck it up more."

... meaning "Step away from the keyboard and don't do anything stupid until we've worked out what's happened".

... meaning, it looks bad now, but if we panic and do something stupid then we could end up somewhere much worse and wish we were back where we were.



It's also a good thing to think of when some bad stuff happens. Being grateful for what's *not* happened has a way of putting things in perspective.


BTW... Have you heard my accent @jon.a ?
