This thread is basically a summary/ part 2 of my previous thread "Documenting My journey to $10k/month at 15 with AI automation".
After getting some feed back from @Andy Black I decided to make this thread for myself & anybody else who might be trying to start an AI agency.
I've been consistently working on ONLY the AI agency for around 3 months now & have 4 clients on monthly plans.
At first I was getting A lot of no's & 0 responses but it was mainly my fault, I didn't have the sales skills needed to close a client over the phone & just honestly didn't know what I was doing lol.
But after a few hundred cold calls I've gotten alot better at selling & learned what doesn't work & what kind of works, I know I've still got a long way to go but I haven't really been worried about cold calling as much this month since I have 4 clients I have to finish projects for & I've heard a few people say december sucks for cold calling contractors. So I've mainly been gathering leads preparing a list for the start of next year & client fulfillment as-well.
The first months were really just the start up phase where I was learning my niche better & setting up my website, social media accounts, making AI Audit template on google slides, perfecting my offer, learning how to set up certain workflows with AI....ect
But now now I have a offer that is getting clients closed & a actual SYSTEM in place to make this thing take off in 2026.
What has worked for me was implementing a mini offer(free) before presenting my main offer(What the business owners have to pay for) . - I Learned this from $100M leads by Alex Hormozi
My mini offer is a Free AI audit that shows how many calls/leads are being missed & how much revenue is being lost, which I recently learned from a instagram reel has the highest closing rate out of all the offers these other agencies' are presenting, so I know that has played a big part in closing PAYING clients.
My main offer is a AI phone assistant that answers calls 24/7 & automatically books jobs into a organized google sheets(which is the fix to the problems that get exposed during the Free Audit) & I up-sell a fully automated google sheet system that can be connected to a CRM if they have one as-well.
I've learned that Most of these contractors won't be interested in anything to do with AI unless you show them how it helps them & will hurt them if they don't buy it first.
I've got a system put in place & it's only going to get better & better once I'm able to outsource stuff like cold calling, I've got a great feeling about this next year because I know I can only get better & bigger with more time/experience. Plus the AI workflows I'm implementing into these business will only get more & more advanced as I get more experienced!
I'm going to continue to do weekly recaps in this thread but They will only include what helped push my agency forward to that $10k/month goal & what held me back from reaching that goal, I hope that anyone who Is trying to start an AI agency will be able to pick up a few things from this thread that will help them out as-well. (you're first client will be the hardest, after that it's like a domino effect that doesn't stop)
I feel like I caught the AI wave at the perfect time, I really do & I advise anyone thinking about starting a business involving AI that passes the CENTS commandments to STOP THINKING & GO EXECUTE before it's to late. you have to to take advantage of a opportunity of a lifetime in the lifetime of the opportunity, if anyone just getting started has questions feel free to ask. if you're more experienced please give any feedback/advice you have, it is very appreciated!
I'll be back with a weekly recap next week!
