We need transparency now days. Where everyone's life looks so perfect on the internet. Thanks!

Doggo's name is Luke. Got him almost 2 years ago when he was 3 months old. Went down a dog training rabbit hole and taught him a bunch of sweet moves. Here's a pic.

Anyone buying in on GameStop right now? When do we think this wave will crash? I've never bought stocks before but we just watched "Dumb Money" so the timing is interesting to me.

At some point you have to stop reading about swimming, and jump in the pool.

At some point you have to stop learning, and start doing. @Andy Black

Welcome back.

Learned the value of compounding in all aspects of life.

Compounding works magic, but only when it is operated within a system that allows compounding asymmetry to occur, but you are yet to apply it in the business world where it really can shift things around.

Compounding doesn't work in the corporate "job" world (bad system) it only works as an entrepreneur in a business system (good system).

I came here for this. Love the real talk. Last couple months have been shifting from input to output. Gaining some momentum here. F*ck it.

Stopped using Microsoft products wherever I can. Ie, switched to Linux Desktop, host my own cloud storage, etc. And just moving away from companies that collect and sell user data, milk your time & attention, etc. in general.

Too much could be an issue. Hurts your stomach and induces panic.

But I think a morning coffee a day is fine.

Quit the caffeine, it F*cks with your sleep, mental health, and gives you anxiety once you're in deep.

It doesn't give you more energy, it just blocks the adenosine receptors giving you the illusion of energy.

Instead get some natural and real energy by using ginseng, coconut water, kombucha, green tea, or a smoothie. Stuff like mud//wtr is also really good.

I highly recommend the books "Caffeine Blues" and "Dopamine Nation". Younger people have a resilience to things that have a negative impact on your body. So they are much less likely to notice any negative impact until after years of use to any drug. I certainly abused my body and would tell my younger self that nutrition is the only path forward. Caffeine is a poison that plants use to keep insects away. It's a central nervous system stimulant and closely related to cocaine. I'll be it a more mild form. You should be skeptical of putting anything that is not food into your body. Here is a closer look at my journey battling addiction, and the surprising truth I found: My Journey With Addiction (NSFW)

I've been grappling with the concept of inputs vs outputs for some time. Your video introduces more nuance. It's easy to distinguish bad inputs vs good input. Doom scrolling Tik Tok is obviously less productive than reading a book on Business. But while I have been shifting to an output mindset. Where you are creating more than you consume, not all output is equal. Like you mentioned in the video, creating a website may not be needed, and there may be a better choice of your outputs like just going and getting a sale. I will lament on the things I am doing to make sure they align with my goals. I have been guilty of creating websites for no reason.

This is a move I'm looking to make as well, Windows as an operating system isn't that great either. What Linux OS did you land on?

Ended up on Fedora, but my current job and skills align pretty well with Fedora. I work with RedHat machines. So dealing with problems on my daily driver actually helps me get better at my day job. Linux is great for privacy, but can suck your time depending on who you ask. It requires a new way of thinking. And if you aren't willing to change how you think or if you are not willing to learn a bit. Then Linux may not be for you. Mint and Ubuntu are also touted as beginner friendly Linux distros. But I've had WAY less issues with Fedora. To me, it's the real "it just works" distro. If you don't want to go down the free and open source, jerry-rigged rabbit hole, there is also Mac OS. Which is basically and over developed, fancy, expensive Linux distro. The Extreme privacy book has a guide on making Mac OS more private. You basically just don't sign in with an account and learn how to install things through the terminal instead of through the app store.
