Some of you know that I own and run an engineering company. Others of you know that I've been teaching engineering for a little while now at the local university. Many of you know that I'm really big into making an IMPACT.

So after a lot of pushing by other Fastlaners, I finally got around to making a youtube channel to help kids in engineering / technology, helping people in their careers in engineering / technology, and generally trying to help people with the stuff school does NOT ….. mindset, money, business, figuring out your why, etc.

I’ve been making posts regularly for a few weeks. After a recent trip with a bunch of the group, I decided to up the anti. Another Fastlaner has a course / company that could help me with a studio upgrade, so I pulled the trigger (and invested some $$) and upgraded my studio so we can start delivering some professional quality content.

Would the community be willing to help me with a few things?
  • Check out some of my old videos
  • Check out the new setup and new videos
  • Let the videos play to the end (even if you decide to mute me!) :)
  • Let a few play in order if the YT algorithm suggests it
  • Subscribe if so moved (it will be awesome!!!)
  • Share somewhere that might have someone I could help (FB, LinkedIn, IG, other forums)
Would love any feedback as well!

I'm not a kid any longer but the learning curve is a never ending story..
 
I can't figure out if I'm an idiot and overlooking it, or if you didn't post a link to the YouTube channel? How do we find it?

Congrats on starting the channel.

I noticed that you teach robotics & mechatronics at the university, that's awesome! What subject are you specialized in?

I ve looked some videos. I didn’t recognize, what for are the Friday stories. Now I know. Good Idea!

just want to reach some people and help them see a way out. :)
my personal mission at this point in my life is to help impact people.
"I create people who create people" is my prime directive.
this also gives me the cool links like @Andy Black uses to not have to retype the same advice over and over! :)

had a couple of videos where I hosed the volume. trying to get better.

This is the way forward!

Keep giving the same advice over and over?

Create something to send people to in future.

Now you *know* you’re creating content that fulfils a need.
 
Totally hosed it today and posted an unedited video. Lol. I had noted the timestamps to cut, just didn't. Uploaded the uncut video like a bonehead. 6 second pause to start the video. Doh!

The YouTube 'trim' and 'split' functions in the channel / video section are pretty cool! Great way to edit video w/o losing your views!
