    It is. I didn't expect this either, lol. But the last two games were really nice to watch. Exciting and fair play. It's only the second time ever they got this far.

    Hoping for a final Belgium - Croatia, but France is strong too.

    I think the cup this year is going to France. But... There maybe surprises.

    Croatia is good too. Sweden and Belgium... England... Mmmmh

    Funny nobody mentioned Russia for getting further, even though it was close tonight... Russia played very good.

    I think England will have his first real threat with Croatia now. To be honest, they (England) didn't impress me yet this tournament.

    Still they're stronger. Not nice football to watch, but that doesn't matter. I hope I'm wrong, but I think France will win the World Cup.

    I have Croatia winning tomorrow. They've been weakened a bit, but I can't take England seriously.

    England's wins so far were all non-impressive: Tunisia, Panama, weakened Colombia, Sweden. Lost to Belgium.

    First real test for England.

    Croatia meanwhile beat: Nigeria, Argentina, Iceland, Denmark, Russia.

    Add to that, the Russians were likely doped up, and you have a fairly impressive performance.

    Croatians are underdogs according to sportsbooks, but I'm attributing that to pro-British bias.

    Excited for the game.

    Nope, due to the fact that Croatia have had two gruelling games in extra time and penalties and the fact that the ageing Modric looked shot at the end of the Russia game.

    Yeah I think they will win it, very classy side. Being a Man Utd fan I hope Pogpa plays well if they do! I'd like to see England win though.

    It's weird. When England scored I thought they were going to win. But they began to play more defensively instead of going for another goal. Croatia played really great.

    Southgate also left it too long without making a change.

    They had the chance to win, they just weren't good enough.

    France is a pretty big betting favorite at this point. One site has France -210 (you have to bet $210 on them to win $100) and Croatia +175 (you bet $100 to win $175). Pretty cool underdog story in Croatia, though.

    Chances are slim, but Croatia winning would be the ultimate cherry on this unpredictable world cup cake. Kudos to Croatia's massive stamina.

    A big part of England’s game plan was play for free kicks. Then score from those free kicks, which to be fair they were very good at.
