After Game of Thrones came to an end I have ran out of TV shows to watch :( . What TV shows are you currently watching or new seasons premiering soon?

I stumbled upon Warrior by chance, probably my favourite series right now. Highly recommend.

Other than that, I don't watch TV shows very much.

I love the Sopranos. It's the only thing that I am still watching sometimes. It's great because even on the 10th run I find out something new. UK's old Top Gear is also great. Never seen even a clip of GoT. :)
But I'm not a big fan of new movies or series besides that. Takes too much time out of my life. I usually watch max one-two movies per month.

Movie: The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind | Netflix Official Site

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPkr9HmglG0

About the story of an African boy who learns how to build a windmill to save his community from famine. Despite terrible opposition from his school and father, he is able to achieve it.

Powerful story, and somewhat entrepreneurial.
Ooo. That looks good. Thanks for sharing MJ.

I don’t watch TV or movies much. I’d rather make a nuisance of myself in forums and Facebook groups. Haha.

Sounds cool what network is it on? Is it similar to Into the Badlands?
HBO. And not really, it's a totally different type of story. Warrior takes place during actually historical events, and there's no fantasy involved. Both of them centre around martial arts so I guess they're alike that way.

The new Aladdin was pretty great. Will Smith definitely lives up to the genie despite the concerns.

john wick 3 - good movie, most killing I've ever seen in 1 movie...non-stop pretty much. (theatre)

some good netflix shows over the last few months..
russian doll - woman lives same day over and over again with different results
the OA - a bit slow, but interesting..alternate realities..hard to explain
the punisher - latest season came out a bit ago, but pretty good show with killing/fight stuff...about a guy who's wife & kid get killed
santa clarita diet - probably one to watch with a gf/wife...more of a sitcom - about a woman who turns into a zombie
black mirror bandersnatch - let's you choose your own story line throughout show...cool concept.

amazon prime
the tick - weird show but entertaining - about a big blue guy and a kid who are superheroes doing stuff
hannah - only watched 1/2 of it so far -- about a girl and dad who are fighting against a govt agency and they are trained killers

regular tv
impractical jokers, ghost adventures, shark tank, lost gold of world war 2 (they actually find something),

Oh damn, I still need to see John Wick 3! It's the movie I'm most excited about.

Silicon Valley - the only series I can watch over and over.

the last season or two just wasn't as good....not as funny or interesting....became more of a drama or something.

As other posters said TV series tend to suck you right in if you're not careful, and I don't watch any right now.

However, one of the shows I occasionally re-watch is Californication.

Yes, it's raunchy and cheesy at times and seems like something your horny uncle would watch, but the dialogue and retorts Hank spits out are very-well written -- one of the reasons why I come back to the show.

Plus the episodes are 25-30mins long which makes them ideal for a quick watch.

Other favorites include Ray Donovan, Vikings, Blindspot.

Since we just had our 3rd child, my shift at night is 3am - 9am with the newborn. (no, she doesn't sleep well).

So, there's a lot of binge-watching while staying up with her.

In the past month, binged:
- The Wire (very good show)
- Deadwood (well done, but a bit boring)
- Six Feet Under (well written and acted, depressing)

Once she sleeps at night, it'll be back to watching little TV again :).

---------
For my last 2 kids when they were born and I was up with them, binge-watched:

- Rectify (overrated I feel...)
- House of Cards (really good)
- Walking Dead (first few seasons are really good, after that it sucks)
- Stranger Things (only the first season, didn't like it)
- Halt and Catch Fire (pretty cool entrepreneurial series)
- The Sopranos (very good)

I was going to post that too. I barely watch anything anymore unless I can find stuff like that. You might like the movie Cash McCall. Its an old, simple movie, but it's got a good message involving business ethics.

I don't watch TV either, maybe a movie once in awhile, but not often. I rather be educating myself somehow, or interacting with other people in the same manner. I try to sometimes, but really, I think once you've been in the habit over many years of not watching anything, it's more I sit there and think about reading or doing something else. Really has to be something which captures my attention severely or I just will be restless the whole time while I watch stuff with other people.

Billions is probably the only series I’ve ever fully watched, absolute favorite!
Been trading on my own for less than couple of years, so not yet sure how accurate the show is. But I really enjoy watching all that success mindset and power game in it, and occasional trader humour.

I am watching Bigg Boss which telecast in Vijay TV. The concept is, different people from different field are invited to stay in a house for a set time period. The catch there is, no TV, no mobile, no way to communicate outside the house and no way to know whats happening outside as well. So, all you have to do is live with the housemates, who may be different from you in every possible way.
