Looking to get more Web traffic, trying to find the best paid advertising that provides positive return on investment.
What have you tried to date? How did it work out?

Maybe start with paid search.

You are asking bad questions, totally unspecific.

Nobody give you good answers to bad questions.

What are you selling? Toothbrushes? Airplanes?

BTW, even if you give as a good specific answer all we can do is give you a good guess.

You have to test it yourself to find out.

The advertising I have tried so far without success: Buying a Solo ad banner on Automobilemag.com, Paid for SEO Work from Rankpay.com, Bought Business Sponsorship on Automotive Forums(Various Brands), Paid for Membership on Easyhits4u.com, Paid for Professional YouTube Videos to be created, Had Custom Infographics created, Used GetResponse Email marketing. The business I am in is 100% Synthetic Oil, Fluids, and Filters.

What is the definition of success for you? A certain number of leads? Purchases reaching break-even? Profit made right from the initial sale?

Do you know whether people were clicking and visiting but not converting? Or not clicking at all?

Those are very different problems from each other.

Is your site the same as your forum name?

Because if it is...I seriously doubt throwing money at any media for traffic is going to help much. That's not where your main problem is yet.

Admittedly I'm not your target market, but the site's design is very outdated. It does not seem trustworthy. It's not mobile responsive (did you check how many people were coming to your site from a mobile device?) It's difficult to navigate...I have no clue where I should be clicking or where I'm going. It's trying to do way too much at once on one page (selling the oil, getting people to ask for a catalog, getting people to sign up for a magazine, become a dealer themselves etc). On the plus side, it's using HTTPS.

If it is your site, get it sorted out first before wasting more of your money buying advertisement. If it's not...then of course ignore.

Paid marketing isn't a "money button". If it was, every startup would be millionaires.

You need to stop buying or listening to fake gurus who promote this shit.

Good point. We don't know the demographics you want to it, your products role in the industry, etc. You gotta winnow down what you're looking for, otherwise you're searching in a bunch of mess.

The market I am trying to reach is Vehicle and Motorcycle Gearheads, Automotive and Motorcycle Dealers/Shops, Tuner/Racing SHOPS, Truck Dealers/Shops, any fleet vehicle maintenance shops, taxi & limos, basically any and all customers interested in vehicles that like to have the finest premium synthetic oils, filters and fluids in their vehicles. Our main competitors are Mobil 1 and Royal Purple.

In terms of ROI, email marketing is still the best online marketing strategy that provides the highest ROI. Apart from that video marketing also provide great ROI, there are multiple uses of video marketing for businesses that give great results and help grow the business continually.
