Let's stop dressing like kids.
What if we put beauty, elegance and excellence back at the center of the world?

But you see how this thinking is dependent, not the 1% but chosen by the 99%. If everyone says suits are out and what an adult should wear is short shorts and a crop top to work, then the goalposts of what is considered “correct” for an adult changes with it.
If you like suits go crazy. If you’re a sweatpants trooper, I salute you. But limiting your clothing options to what others approve of is condemning yourself to fashion commoditization.
That's the point of my original question: don't you see that this definition of beauty and elegance etc. is a made-up concept, too? This is what you consider elegant because that's what your culture dictates. But other cultures have other definitions of this and also the concept of being elegant was different even 30 years ago (almost comically baggy suits) compared to today (slim-fit suits).
And according to your statement, every athlete and most artists dress like kids then...
