This week:
- Campaigns weren't working for one client so they rolled back to their previous campaigns and we'll carefully create new ones to try and beat the old ones. I suspect it's due to the new domain not being warmed up. It's strange as campaigns are built the same as for other clients and their campaigns are working great.
- One of our consulting clients got their developer to download some of their daily data into a Google Sheet for us. I can now join that data with the Google Ads data and get a better picture of what's happening. As expected, this has raised more questions and I'll see if we can get the daily transaction data instead of the daily summary data.
- LinkedIn is so funny. Every time I think to not bother with it, I get an inbound referral via LinkedIn messenger. It's for a local service business in Dublin, so at least it's a better fit.
- We've set up campaigns and initial reporting for the robot mower and vacuum client. Now to get conversion tracking implemented and then we can start optimising. Here's the dashboard tab in our automated reports btw. We're keeping spend low while we loaded data gathering campaigns, set up automated reporting, and set up conversion tracking.
