I'm thinking about this for a while. Philip Kotler defined marketing as "Meeting needs profitably".I believe this definition applies not only to marketing but to the whole business. A solid business is something that meets needs profitably. Or in Fastlane speak "Helping others without going broke". I think this summarizes the Fastlane philosophy in a nutshell.
