You should skim through the work of a broad variety of artists, thinkers, etc until you find someone who speaks to you.

Some people will be able to perfectly express things you've felt your entire life but could never make sense of by yourself.

Finding those people and works is probably on of the best experiences that you can have.

Would it be possible to build the social community on another platform and perhaps leverage that to help cover costs of getting the network built by others?

If you are coding it, id recommend to use libraries, frameworks or any templates to your advantage and not reinvent everything. Like, while writing vanilla js can be good practice, sometimes it just makes sense to use something like jquery. Otherwise a multi week project can easily turn into a multi month or multi year project.

Also, don't worry about it being too perfect for launch either. Just make it do the basic feature that it is designed to do. You can always add to it or change it as needed.

Like what @Devampre said - you could try building a community on discord or in another hub like a Facebook group and use that to grow and sell your stuff, then use that to fund your custom website.

How messed up. People in Hong Kong are willing to get on a bus (and pay) just to get a nap as they struggle to sleep at home because of too much noise.

Nice progress. I'd rather live in an undeveloped country where you can easily satisfy your basic needs than in such urban hell, no matter how much money flows through there.

It renewed my faith in movies.

I just finished the 2nd book this morning. There's only so much detail you can fit into 2.5 hours from a big book. I'd definitely recommend them.

I thought it moved really slow, but thats probably me just being conditioned to recent movies that try to fit a plot into 2 hours.

I also didn't know it was created based upon books or that there was a planned part 2 before watching it.
