Okay, here goes... I know, I know. Another blog - womp, womp. Hear me out!
First let me provide a little value - @MJ DeMarco - Have you considered building a CENTS analysis worksheet? I think I would have paid, say $2, to not spend the time locating in the book, retyping questions, and then dealing with MS Word, formatting, etc. It would have solved my problem and saved me time. If there is a worry people will buy the worksheet instead of the book, maybe it's only available to readers who've purchased a book? My thoughts this AM began with "I wish there was a worksheet so I could jump right into this!" (re: today's TMF email)
I've attached my CENTS analysis.
I won't say it passed with flying colors, but I do think it's a solid "GO". Some points that aren't included:
1) I have a VERY strong launchpad for this blog - within 2 weeks my wife and I will announce her pregnancy on social media. That is inherently one of those posts that garners thousands of impressions and comments and linking (creatively) to the kickoff blog post should have me off and running.
2) As far as mindset: If I had my way, we wouldn't even announce on social media. I barely check my facebook anymore. In other words, This is DEFINITELY not me trying to "do what I love." There is no narcissistic need for me to talk about myself in fact I lean the exact opposite. I even started thinking "who could I partner with to be the face of this thing?" BUT, Control.
3) Scale- I don't need this business to fully Unscript my life. If I can turn it into even 5k a month I've bought myself the time to either double down (10x?) and take it to the next level, or move on to something completely different and much bigger.
