No Porn & No Fab (32 days and going)
Dates with four ladies in the past two weeks. I use the dates to remind myself that time is better spent on real people.

Meditation (67 days and going)
I remember (to do it) even if I don't do it on the morning, I can't before, if I miss my morning ritual I'll forgot it totally. But 15 mins has sometimes reduced to 10 mins, one explanation but not excuse is that world is busy and my mind can't fully take off for 15 mins.

GSD system of top 3 things (58 days and going)
This has helped me tremendously in prioritizing. Makes me feel my entrepreneurship life is alive again, previously I feel drowned with so many things to do. Now, just do three things at one time (in the next hour, the afternoon, or the weekend).

GOLD! - Achieve Laser FOCUS + PRODUCTIVITY With The System Legendary Fastlaners Use... (in case you don't know the GSD)

The small things (Day 0)
I have the bad habit of picking my nose in public (you know, when you are at the corridor, or in the bus where you won't see those people again), I want to use the BSD system to kick this away, I tried it for two days and both days failed.

How's the no caffeine challenge going? I quit 5 days ago and it is absolutely killing me at the moment
Just keep it up and it will get better. I quit recently (2+ months ago). The first few days were hell, but now my energy level is way more stable throughout the day and I never crave coffee anymore.

I stopped watching porn a long time ago. When I met my wife I read a book on relationships in which the author explained that if you watch porn you condition your brain to lose interest in your own mate (because of the chemical reaction when you orgasm in combination with seeing other women / men) in the long run. If you're into monogamy it may pay longterm to stop watching porn.

Solving Pain
Hi I am chronicling my challenge.

Background: I am a 35 yo entrepreneur in my 7th year of tech-hood, business are going well and expanding, and there is a chance we can be something bigger. Right now, the firm's limit is my own ability to handle the business and myself, and I've come to realize that personal discipline will be most people's demon, at least it is mine. I want to create the ultimate habit of good life.

No Porn (7th day)
This sounds perverted, but it's something I (or most men?) am addicted to, I used to surf porn almost everyday, and it was really hard to quit (I guess one doesn't quit porn). I am now on my 7th day of abstinence, the longest I've done is a little over a month. I realized by cutting porn I become sharper and clearer, and porn is not on my mind all the time. Expert says that it also improves dating life.

No Fap (7th day)
Almost like porn, and go hand in hand. So yes, I want to get rid of this habit too. I don't think I'll ever quit fap and porn fully, and that's not the point, but I want to reduce the frequency to where it is healthy and I have control over. Incidentally my best social and sex life this year was when I refused to partake in porn and fap.

Daily 30 minutes no interruption of learning
Oh man, today my phone wire broke and I can't charge my phone, that is how I ended up typing this post. Time also seems to move so slow, but so productive. I want to give myself 30 minutes of no interruption to learn something, anything. And right now is learning Spanish

Daily 10 minutes meditation (1st day)
I can't seem to "get" the zen yet, and have only remember doing it in random days. The longest I've done was about two week. I want to give it a go and really make it a habit. The least that comes out of it is that I have my day's to-do items prioritize as I can't do anything other than sit. Of course the best would be to get thoughts our of my head.

No Coffee (cured)
Contentious but I don't have addiction and find quitting easy, I am now on my second month of abstinence and I have abstained before for two months prior before picking up a few cups again.

No Facebook (cured)
F**k FB! I am done with it.

Note: I realized that the secret to creating habits is to record, record, record. Recording progress really works! Secondly, stop using the phone! at least for 30 minutes a day during learning session, or better intermittent 30 minutes without phone.

For most people, discipline comes from seeing how a lack a discipline has failed them into having no money.

Then work takes on a new light.

Still a few of them realize working for time doesn’t pay the bills. Gradually the Fastlane tenents reveal themselves out of experiencing massive pain.

Fully cured!

Whenever I have craving I will do tea, pure tea or tea with milk

It's been several months since and I've decided to take it off the challenge list now.

Maybe it's the extra time I have (for quitting porn) or maybe it's the desperation, but I seem to attract more women attention after quitting. So I guess by quitting porn u focus on the real life stuff.

I've started replacing coffee with juicing spinach/kale in the mornings. I feel like I get a burst of energy that lasts and allows me to work. It could be very well a placebo but I do feel better in the evenings instead of having several cups of coffee during the day and crashing later.

It seems as if you’re aiming to break your previous “no porn/no fap” record only to restart again a couple days after. What’s triggering those emotions to go back to that comfort zone. You had spoke to women and even went on dates, but it seems that’s not enough to keep you away. What’s the problem.

U r right, I am trying to break my old record, now on the 18th day. Dating life has never been greater these days. The trigger back to the fap/porn was one time I just slipped.

Six months after No Porn, No Fap challenge

I decided to start this challenge over six months ago. attempting to quit an almost daily habit since puberty (I am now late 30s), it was literally counting days when I started. After joining FLF in September 2019 I started recording the progress openly in the forum, I am glad to say that since starting tracking on FLF I’ve only slip twice! Most recently, I have gone 41 days , 35 days , 47 days and now on my 24th day and counting!

I am tempted to say that it is the third resolution conquered! After no coffee and no Facebook. I now have 30 minutes more daily, and placebo or not, have better interaction and luck with the opposite sex.

No porn - agree. No far, not so much. Fap is natural and it can be useful, unless you overdo it. At least if you will get back to your old habits after a week, dont be so hard on yourself. Accept you humanness

I ended up fapping again on 28th Jan, which meant I already fap/porn four times in 2020....I am now on my 10th day of abstinence........

Today I also checked back my journal, I started my no fap, no porn, no cofee, no FB journey in March 2019, it's almost an anniversary now.

If you're set on NO coffee, try tea. Not sure if it has already been mentioned. did not go through comments
Works for me! I had been taking lots of coffee during lunches and dinners outside.

Tea with NO sugar and milk. Take it natural, hot.

Sometimes I do English Breakfast...sometimes green tea...mostly of the time Pu' Er (bo lei- which is mostly accessible in Chinese restaurants, especially dim sum places).

Don't slurp the stuff down quickly...try to sip, and savor the natural, earthy flavour. Very meditative.

On my 20th day of no fap and no porn.

And here it starts from day 0 again! On my 21st day I actually ended up watching porn and fapping three times. I am now on my 4th day of abstinence again.

I've also decided to give a final "countdown", if I can abstain from three periods of 20 days of no porn and no porn Which is two months, I'll count this challenge achieved. The reason being I don't think I can fully quit porn and fap, so once in a three weeks can be a moderation acceptable challenge? If I can do that then I can move on with other challenge, I started this challenge on March 2019 so it's nearing an anniversary now.

Does that make sense?

No Fap / No Porn (4th day)
20 days (Feb 26), stop counting, 20 days (Apr 26), 20 days(May 15), 4th day today.

Observation: All "20 day challenge" ended with a night of porn streak. The first few days of stay home was especially hard, and that's how I ended up with doing a 3 x "20 day challenge" 44 days ago.... I told myself if I can do three "20 day challenge" I can call the habit conquered! But I am not sure if it's ever conquered as it's something I (most men?) slip back in easily, for those of you who quit porn, how did you gauge if you have really quit? I you just REALLY QUIT?

Meditation (1st day)
Counted for 80 days till Christmas, then stopped counting....hence I am going with day 1 again. I am still not able to get into the "zone", "zen", and still stopping meditating midway , like instead of 15 minutes it's just 8 minutes.

GSD system of top 3 things (X days)
Stopped counting since, but have grown into it. I use it (almost) daily weekdays and it's a gold mine, with the lockdown and time I have, I ended up digging through my old stuffs, including finding 15 bitcoins in a forgotten wallet..... so I guess I am richer because of GSD. The current challenge to the system is that the to-do list is growing too long, and I've decided to not add to it until I clear the list.

I encourage everyone with a busy lifestyle to look at this, and please let me know if you have your own GSD system, dairy or something.

The small things
Picking Nose (Day 0)
It sounds disgusting, but I actually pick my nose. I made a note and I did it for the past sixteen days.
Counting Calorie (Day X) More on this later.

I feel it is conquered for me. It feels more conquered each day - much like quitting smoking did. I'm careful to not consume any media that might trigger me, but I realize it cannot be completely avoided. Most dangerous times are when I'm disappointed or tired. Those times I really have to be careful. Keep going! I'm approaching 3 months.

Right now I have gotten

Challenges goes on....
Meditation (22nd day)
Continuing....my previous record was 80 days of meditation, stopped and finally getting back into it. For the past 22 days I was able to slowly meditate for 15 mins though some days I still break before time up though getting to 15 mins more and more days.

Picking Nose (2 days) I finally managed to go from picking my nose daily in public to certain days not picking my nose at all....My next goal is to not pick my nose at work for seven days continuously.

GSD system of top 3 things (X days) I stopped counting this as it is an (almost) daily habit, I write down what is to be done on Trello free version and check em to tick off the things I have to do. I however is not very strict about GSD's method of having only three items that I need to finish before moving in new items as I shuffles items alot back and forth, if any of you have any experience on this I appreciate it.

Next challenge Make my bed (starting today)

I know many of this challenges seems minor, but my motto is to learn to manage myself better, to be discipline. I have many more goals to get at, get better at public speaking, be more confident etc, but let's get this smaller challenge going.

Challenges conquered
Early rise (done) in 2020
I gave myself this goal, though I never wrote it here. To wake up at 6:30 each day, I have by and large done this since early April, except for weekends and odd days. If any my goal is to move the goal post to wake up at 6am. The challenge is whether I can continue once I get back to work in the office, where evening socials craw back in. The biggest inspiration is that many successful people have this habit.
No sugar (done) in 2019
No Facebook (done) in 2019
No coffee (done) in 2019
Exercise & diet (done) in 2020
It's not a challenge per say as I have always been doing moderate exercise 3 - 4 times a day, but I have recently take it to the next level by myself and upping my regime to a level I have never done before - approximating my calories, protein and also recording down my workouts. What I need to do next is to buy a mini kitchen scale and confirm guesses
No Fap / No Porn (done) in 2020 20 days (Feb 26), stop counting, 20 days (Apr 26), 20 days(May 15), 7 days (May 23), 20 days (June 12), Day 0(June 13). This is probably my biggest challenge and just an example how hard I finally got to my third 20 day goal yesterday and last night I actually fap four time.....I know I will not be able to NoFap forever so I set a 20 day challenge and tell myself to do it thrice. And I managed to do a 3 x 20 days NoPorn and NoFap thus graduating from this goal. I am going to list this goal as achieved unless I fallback to fapping, my next goal is to NoFap for 30 days....as an obvervation. As said, I've done longer abstinence before but the mandatory stay home is making it a whole new challenge hence I gave myself a challenge to do three 20 days abstinence to consider myself overcoming this.

For those who actually read, a big thank you!

This is a conquered challenge, I thought I didn't pen down this challenge but I actually did on April 1st on my first anniversary review in FLF thread. Told myself to wake up at 7am in April, and now I am doing average 6:30, and sometimes before the alarm.

Rising early (conquered)
I initially thought creating this habit will be a tough one, having lived through my teenage and adult life through late nights. I am about four months into waking up early, starting with 7+ am to finally waking up before 6am without alarm for the past two days.

The benefits is huge, I got to work on the most important and hardest task early morning when the mind is clear. Initially waking up early didn't guarantee that I'll start on those big task as procrastination always caused me to pick easy and mundane stuff rather than the ones that I dreaded to do, but slowly some of the early days started taking shape with important task.

Fap (Ongoing, day 7)
Picking Nose(Ongoing, day 0)
Make my bed (lost count....I am hoping I did it almost every day...)
