I travel to around 20-30 countries a year, so I could discuss how to travel light as a PT (perpetual traveler) with details about packing light, tech I use, how I buy plane tickets, how I book rooms, etc.
I have been on a few speaking panels about - Best Places to Live, Work and Invest Overseas - I could give short synopsis of this
Either of these would be my vote. Slightly leaning toward the second...

2. 5 Pieces of the ultimate marketing funnel
Definitely this one

1. What Tony Taught Me
Why you do what you do, how to get yourself to follow through,
creating lasting change. I won't go on and on like he does. A few
quick exercises and interactive demonstration on how to manage
your state and figure out why you do (or don't do) what you do.

2. 5 Pieces of the ultimate marketing funnel
With my consulting clients right now I really only focus on these 5
things to produce the best results. This would be really only useful
to people who own a business right now and are already up and running.

Love T, but I think I'll go GlobalW's support of door #2.

I'm assuming most people know standard Sales Funnel 101 (maybe not?), so anything/case studies/insights you have beyond that would be great.

Ok, I'm narrowing down to:
"How to Legally Live Tax Free"....or
"How to Travel Light and Live as a PT" (perpetual traveler)
You can vote on the topic, mark me for either/or, I can do both, or wing it.

Hard to vote here... guess I'd say play to your strengths. I'd love to hear the 10 best/worst/smartest/dumbest things you've seen this year in either category, but particularly the tax stuff. Memorable tips.

What I would like to Share with the group will be
"How do we convey our message in face to face communication ?" and more importantly
" Influencing essentials in face to face communication."
this will be a hands on session through experiental learning .
Everyone will be able to recognize their personal preferences in their face to face communication style and more importantly become aware of differences in communication preference and how to minimize this for influence..

I hope this session will break the ice abit and we can have a bit of fun with this too!

Thanks

You and I could both talk for an hour about a new pair of shoelaces.

And clearly I am a much more gifted bullshitter.

Grasshopper is learning from the best.

Phteven, I'd love to hear the marketing funnel.

Bobby, living tax free IN THE U. S. would be my first choice, using case studies/examples (I can heckle you if you'd like).

Flight and hotel booked.

What do you'se all want to hear from me?

Some random thots:

* * * *

•How to get great customer reviews (there is a system)

•How to leverage real estate

•What to do when you get stuck in your PLAN (ie, when all your $$$ are committed and it's not liquid)

•How I Made the Transition: From 25 yr old toker to 29 year old Board Member (to "retiring"* at 39)

* * * * * *

Also open to other ideas, based on my past threads. Just let me know. Happy to do what the group is interested in.

-Russ H.

*I put the "retiring" in quotes because I changed my mind and got back in the game. Six months of not doing business drove me nutz.

Okay, I'm thinking about either:

"Turbo-charging your current slowlane vehicle to get into the fastlane."
Hint: You don't have to reinvent the wheel.

I changed mine from being about fishing to:

The lost art of thinking: how successful people both past and present think for themselves

I made this change because it is a big weakness of mine. I tend to be reliant on what other people think; and I believe the connectivity the internet has brought us has made young people more dependent than ever on the approval of others. I am going to talk about how great thinkers in the past and present think about problems and tackle them, and what we can learn.

Decided to go ALL-IN and move to Phoenix a month ago, bought my one-way plane ticket.
Had no way of getting into B&P, was literally planning to wait outside and see what happens.

Just a couple days ago I got a message from a masked hero vigilante (could have been Eskil :D) and now I'm going to B&P. WOO!!

Lesson to be learnt: The hustle ALWAYS pays off.

Please use this thread to tell us what you plan on presenting at Beer & Pancakes. We are shooting for unique presentations, so if someone is already covering a topic you'll have to choose a new one. If you're coming to B&P, you absolutely MUST present; no excuses. Plan for a 20 minute presentation, give or take depending on our scheduling.

If you're having difficulty choosing a topic, post here for discussion. I'll update the first post of this thread when topics are submitted.

Please email me at jason @ jasonregan.me OR Skype me: Jasonr686. I look forward to seeing you all there!

You have a great story. Why not just talk about your store and the angle/approach you took in developing it where it is today?
