Just being a "rule follower" and introducing myself.
For a LONG time I've wanted to own my own business. I've worked in technology in one form or another for the past 30+ years and it has gotten me nowhere near any kind of "wealth". I did try running my own photography business a few years ago but that went nowhere and Covid killed it off.
Recently I was trying to help my 19 year old who doesn't want to go to college try and figure out some sort of business he could start. I was doing some research for "teenagers" and came across several recommendations for MJ DeMarco's books. I had some unused Audible credits and so I picked up "Unscripted " and started listening with the aim to help out my kid. Wow ... I REALLY liked what I was hearing and then decided I should start with The Millionaire Fastlane instead (I got it and the Great Rat Race Escape too). I'm just about at the end of The Millionaire Fastlane and it has been a huge wake-up call to me.
So far I've learned:

- Photography should stay a hobby.
- The business that my kid is trying to start might make him a few bucks and he might learn some valuable lessons, but it won't go anywhere big (it violates The Commandment of Entry).
- I have a lot more to learn.
