Here's the reality, folks. If you've made your way to this forum, there's a better than average chance that you can break the script. There are success stories birthed here every day. Read the millionaire fast lane and unscripted if you haven't already, and then spend some time looking through the gold threads here.

You can make it. Your past doesn't have to be your future. Your present circumstances don't dictate your ending.

Hopefully you didn't spend more than a minute or two with the original post. Discard it in the same pile that you discard anybody that tells you what you can or can't achieve.

Shortly before I came to the forum I was over $1 million in debt. I'm now financially free. You can do the same thing.

I think the original posters heart was in the right place, but the message was empty from somebody who hasn't experienced enough of life to know that kicking people in the balls isn't a way to help them. His type of message would resonate better on a dominatrix forum then it would on a business forum.

FY: I only listened to the first 90 seconds, but isn't he right?

Most people are too lazy and don't want to work. Video games and the latest flavor TV is more important.

Life is about manipulating probabilities...

The chances of you "making it" if you're an average random Joe: < 1%
The chances of you "making it" if you're at the forum several times a week and live the philosophies: 42%.

Technically, "most of you will never make" it is technically correct.

A fat guy walks into a weight watchers meeting, calls them all a bunch of fat F*cks, and muses that most of them will binge eat at some point. Technically, he was right.
  • The people were at weight watchers taking intentional steps towards self betterment
  • The agitator is no different than his audience. The fact that he is self realized doesn't make him any different, or any better, than the people at the meeting
  • He thought that "tough love" was by belittling them and diminishing their goals
Just because something is conceptually accurate in certain circumstances doesn't mean it needs to be said. You don't walk into an AA meeting and call them a bunch of hopeless drunks when their goal is sobriety. You don't walk into a halfway house and tell them they'll likely all go back to prison when they just broke free. And there's no need to walk in here and post a stupid as shit video to people telling them they're pieces of shit who will never amount to anything.

This place provides hope to the hopeless, food to the hungry, and inspiration to the scripted.

There are a lot of people like you who are experts at telling other people how to make millions. My guess is you don't practice what you preach.

The chance of people at this forum making it are well above average as we are all interested in the pursuit of self betterment.

Who the F*ck are you to tell people what they are capable of?

If you plan to make any more videos, first drop the condescending attitude and second find a microphone that doesn't buzz all the time. I don't suspect you're going to find an audience for your angry rambling rant. I listened to the first minute and then fast forwarded it to the end to see if the content got any better and it never did.

Recordings like this have to either entertain or inform in order for anybody to care. Yours did neither.

Being tough on the internet is so 1990s.

And yet, here you are producing videos that teem with tough.

Funny you don't see the irony.

It's like the old Alinsky tactic -- accuse your opponents of exactly what you're doing.

Screen Shot 2017-09-20 at 10.01.51 AM.png

Wow, such a creative subtitle for your channel.

Why does that sound familiar? Anyone? Bueller?

Anything else you are borrowing from my work by simply changing one word?

It's a play on words which I creatively spun to reflect a declaration of independence for individuals.

Your use is creative theft.

I thought you were smarter.

Yea, and you're so brilliant you're ripping off my shit and then using my forum to promote your channel.

Get F*cking lost a**hole.

Hey!

Just checked out the rest of your channel, but I'm a little confused by your first videos...

Sharks.png

They're all 90% dislikes - clickbait titles, still photo videos w/ background music, and a single broken link to an eccomerce site.

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mm_51JSjebk&ab_channel=LazyTycoon

*record scratch*

F'n seriously?

Since you're in the habit of clickbaiting and siphoning large amounts of traffic to your sites (as you've clearly done here as well),
then maybe you should spend less time on Fastlane and more time publishing a case study with the rest of the wantrepreneur scum on BlackHatWorld.

But no worries, I'm not going to bash your little hobby.
Have fun on your neurotic rambling walks in the park.

Leave creating real businesses with real value up to us.

I moved this thread out of the LANDFILL because I think people need to see how NOT to abuse the forum.

Sure, cram your head with a negative bullshit and expect positive results. That's a solid indication of stupidity.

He's gone. I have zero tolerance for thieves. At first I thought this guy was just a fan of my work, ya know, very cool. But upon a closer look, I think this goes beyond "Hey I agree with your stuff" but more like, "Hey I'm gonna use your stuff as the entire foundation for my channel. (And then act like it was my creative production!)

Ok, so I listened to about 90% of it. It's probably supposed to be motivational tough-love, "work harder!"

But.

I don't take health advice from fat people.

I don't take wealth advice from poor people.

I don't take marriage advice from someone that doesn't have a great marriage.

I don't take business advice from someone that's never ran a business.

And, I certainly don't take success advice from the unsuccessful.

@Brander ...are you successful?

This thread makes me miss @Tanisha.

Above is all I was going to say, but I figured I could add a little value here.

When I was new to the forum, I was similar to the OP. I thought I had life figured out, and really just wanted to help people. So I started a blog and was on a few podcasts regurgitating information I learned that helped me get started.

I soon realized that opening people's eyes and motivating them to get started was not a good use of my time. I realized I couldn't help the people I wanted to help, the way I wanted to help them.

So I quit all of that and shut everything down. Now instead, I dedicate my time here trying to help people learn as well as learn myself. This community is way better and more serious than anything else out there.

Those who are willing to be like us will eventually find us.

To the OP and to conclude, I know your intentions are good, but no one is going to all of a sudden care. If you are what you say you are, this forum is a far better platform to teach and learn on. I know you will eventually come around.

Just my two...

This video is like a room full of ugly fart, so I've decided to open a window and let some fresh breeze in:

michael-jordan-basketball-quotes.jpg

Although it may have not been OPs intention, his video radiates negativity and fear. Do not let it contaminate your mind, guys! Failure is inevitable, giving up is optional and there are many living examples of my statement in this forum, such as our legendary @Vigilante, @IceCreamKid, @MJ DeMarco and lots more.

It's not about whether you'll fail. Because you definitely will. It's about what you're gonna do when you fall face down in a mud over and over again. Are you gonna quit or keep moving forward?

OK, ok.. I actually watched the whole thing. I was waiting for the punchline or something. It couldn't really be that bad right?

This was not value for the time I will never get back, but I decided to learn something from this.

  1. Cut your losses early
  2. Mic makes a huge difference in quality
  3. Prepare a script so as to not ramble worthlessly
  4. Not everything video is a winner
  5. I probably don't have the right voice for video as I think I might sound like this guy. God help me.
    1. OK voice doesn't matter if the message is valuable!
  6. Keep trying and face the hard things in life and don't let anyone beat you down... including me

But wow.. just wow. I still have to believe this was for humor.

If any of you have an questions for me, what I do, etc. I'll be glad to answer...

I do.

How did you make your first million dollars?

Do you feel it's better to motivate people through encouragement or tough love?

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

How many people subscribe to your Patreon? Isn't that the thing people play video games on?

There's tons of people who come here making shitty "motivational" content, but most of them haven't been on the forum for six years, and most of them aren't old enough to have hair on their chest, let alone gray hair in their beard.

Also, if you're going to create content that's a thematic ripoff of MJ's, at list give credit where credit is due.

And there's no need to walk in here and post a stupid as shit video to people telling them they're pieces of shit who will never amount to anything.

Guess it's a perception difference, my 1st impression was that his title was in reference to the video title, not speaking directly to us. I thought he was speaking to a general class of wantrepreneurs, none of which are here, and none of which are doing anything to improve their odds.

If the title had said "Most of you at Fastlane will never make it. Sad!" (sounds like a Trump tweet, lol) I would have joined in on the "f*ck you" parade.

Again, I only listened to the first 90 seconds as I thought it was more put-down (not inspirational) vs tough love and moving.
