Just read Unscripted right after finishing The Millionnaire Fastlane, I spent my whole week with these. I was impressed at how extensive MJ's analysis is, covering the whole process from scratch and all its different aspects, from psychology to execution. It is an amazing blueprint to start going through the process.

I was especially sensitive to MJ saying he's an introvert. A lot of qualities are required to start and run a business at which introverts are usually naturally weaker. Of course, it's all about growing and working to get better at it. It is comforting to know that MJ did it being one.

Once again, thank you and congratulations for the great work.

Ditto :)

Now that there's several hundred out there in the wild, guess it is time to start a thread for those of you who have read (or listened to!) UNSCRIPTED !

Just finished the audiobook on Audible, amazing.

I listened it in our "leased car", while driving in traffic to my "good paying, easy, corporate job". Perfect...

I have FT moments every week, but I didn't have a FTE yet. I need a few more weeks and these constant FTMs will surely transform in FTE.
MJ, I was so glad when I heard that you at 26 were still working as a driver. I totally forgot about this. I have this feeling that I already wasted more then 5 years of my life, but it is good to know that I'm still young and it is not too late. For f.k sake, I'm 24. Not 45.

Also, it is very hard for me to get out of my confort zone, and I'm struggling with it since I went to college 5 years ago (which I still didn't finish :O ups). At least, what I'm good at is failing consistently, without quiting. I say I do something, then I don't, but after it I decide to try again and again. All of my friends are laughing at me because I'm dreaming of a better life but after so much time, still no results. However, I KNOW I will take the leap, I just have to make a 100% decision about a business idea, and work my a$$ off.

Thank you MJ for both of your books. It's a great help for every youngster like me. You inspire us and in 20-30 years a lot of millionaires will sing your name when they will talk about their successes.

Just finished reading The Millionaire Fastlane and joined this forum. I am a fast reader but this is the first time I could only read a few pages before taking breaks to absorb and process everything. I was highlighting and storing on my iPad what I thought the main bits before I looked back and realised I was storing nearly 2/3 of the book as 'to go over again'.

Anyway, how is 'Unscripted ' different to TMF ?
TMF made me act on my 'fastlane idea' so should I read Unscripted when I reach a certain point in the process?

Read it after TMF . The first half of the book basically repeats TMF but that's good. It expands more in the second part. The last part I rushed a bit.. I'm not that wealthy yet. Fantastic book just like the first

Finished "Reading" (actually listening) to the book yesterday. Kinda sad it wasn't MJ reading. The reader was good but it is a different experience listening to the author, there's more feel to the words.

Outstanding book nonetheless. Will probably read it again after my 3rd read of TMF .

Just finished the audio version of Unscripted , so much information to take in. That is why I also bought the kindle book. I can reread something I heard earlier.

Just finished the audio book today. Incredibly well-written! I don't think I've ever paid as much attention to any book's writing style before.

One of my goals is to write a book after my first entrepreneurial success, and when that time comes, I'll be getting the Kindle version of this to study it for the writing.

"...as regular as a Kim Kardashian selfie..."
"...their hands sank like anchors..."

I found myself amazed at all the different ways MJ was able to describe things.

"...stories that make me want to rip my head off and throw it in a Cuisinart." LOL, this one had me dying in the car on my way to work.

As for the content, I really liked that MJ takes on socialism. Many young people today don't understand what socialism is, and can't tell the difference between capitalism and crony capitalism, so they get easily fooled. I think this is so important for people to understand. I'm glad MJ felt it was important enough to include.

I happen to have been also reading "Mindset" by Carol Dweck at the same time, so I was glad to hear the "growth mindset" covered in one of the chapters.

I really liked the explanations on branding, RAS, Identity, the feedback loop & echos, etc. There was definitely more mindset stuff in this book than in TMF, which is great.

I read it all, and for moments I knew I was making the mistakes MJ was talking about, felt bad but then I was glad he talked straight and bluntly. It hurts to be told the true sometimes, but it's also a relief to know one can now be on the right track.

I actually read both the books together, it gave me a reality check and how time is most important in life.

Thanks MJ!

P.S. I'm gonna listen to the audiobook now.

Listened to the Audiobook and I agree with many of the observations that MJ makes.

I'm certainly going to be changing some of my behaviour to exploit the insights in this book.

I'll report back as I make progress.

Cheers

Oz

I've just finished unscripted after the millionaire fast lane. After MFL I knew any book from MJ would have insane value and I definitely found that to be true. The book is so full of good value that I'll need to read it a few more times to really internalize all of the learnings there

I've pretty much determined that people who don't succeed in business do so more so due to their mindset, over not finding the right idea or business concept.

This book has been truly life-changing, and a wonderful addition to my view & trust of the "Process".

Now to start out, I've read The Millionaire Fastlane a half dozen or so times, and this was another layer of truth with every turn of the page. Most people never get this kind of wisdom in a lifetime, let alone in the pages of one book.

They say when you hear the truth, you'll know it, that's exactly what this book did to me (just like TMF).

I'm immensely grateful for you writing the book, MJ, and the style with which you wrote it. I can honestly say it helped me in variety of ways, further improving my already "Fastlane" type of thinking.

Although it was a really long book, I took notes and notes and will be referring back to them for the rest of my life, I'm sure of it.

Can't wait for the next book MJ - they keep getting better and better.
