No. People are constantly buying and consuming more information. It's never ending.Thanks. Is the market flooded you think?
Hey thanks for the post man. The simplification stuff is awesome. When I was doing this stuff the only thing you mentioned that I didn't do was to create my own product and promote to the list generated from it. I wasn't a creator/value giver back then. I was chasing money via affiliate marketing.
Saving this to my iBooks as this will be very useful.
Focus on giving and helping and the money will just come.
A subtle little difference. You have me thinking now. Thanks.Think about it like this: people may not want to know "how to do xxxxx" but "how J did xxxxx" (J being an average Joe they can relate to). That's what people pay for in such cases, step by step instructions coming from someone who had a real experience with it.
I'm quite stunned at some of the negativity being directed towards the OP. The vibe I get from him is he genuinely wants to pass off some info that may help somebody. He has blatantly told you not to buy any of his info that he's dumping it for free; he was completely up front that some of the material we were reading was from his course. Even if he was selling something, which he isn't, everyone has a choice as to whether to buy or not.
Also quite obvious was that he said that he was showing us one out of six channels merely to make a point; the point being that you could make regular cash from an online business. He asked that we please give it a go because some people (not him) had gone from tight spots to millionaires.
Surely all information of this type should come with the caveat, it depend's what you put in, I can't believe that those words need to be put in a post.
Anyway I found this post useful as I have written around 30,000 words in various articles, blogs, and essays which I have been thinking about editing and adding new content and making it some kind of ebook, or eseries.
The info contained within this post is exactly what I needed to hear, the content is relatively no problem for me, however I didn't understand the route to market, and now I do. As far as I'm concerned, this is the type of user we want to encourage on this platform, I understand some of the cynicism from some of the old-stagers, however I would hope that everyone is judged on merit, rather than past behaviour of others.
Thank you OP ++Rep Transfered.
Personally, as an experienced affiliate marketer that changed the industry for so many people, I'll give the guy some slack and credit.
Unless the screenshots are fake, this guy made $367,000 dollars with the pics he posted already. Let's just forget he said he has done more on other platforms and focus on just the shots he posted right now for what I'm about to say.
$367,000 over 6 years is better than most affiliates. $367,000 over 11 years is better than most affiliates.
Could he have done this as a 1 trick pony on 1 product in 6 months time and claimed to have done it over 6 years? Sure. Could he have done a little each day over 11 years? Sure.
Either way, if the pics are real he is doing better than 95% of the people on WaFo and Clickbank who are affiliates. The real secret is not that he is an affiliate ( which I know some of you will trip over ), but that he is a product owner.
The only thing that is suspect is the ending date of your screenshots.
You don't need to prove anything to me, I'm not asking for it. However, I've been in the affiliate game a very long time. Since 2001.
I know all the "guru's" personally and I know all the charlatans in the industry too. I know the tricks they all push.
Most of them post screenshots of their "success" and never show you the dates. What you end up buying into is their success when they found a loophole say back in 2008 and got some good sales, and then they try to pass that off as current success in 2017 to sell you their new "secrets". But you never realize the screenshots they posted are from almost a decade ago.
In your case, you did show some dates. However, they are so broad that the success *could have* been 1 loophole you found from April 2015 until Sept 2015, but we won't know since the range is so broad. I'm not saying you did, I'm just pointing out the logic.
Also, your dates stop at 10-26-2016 AND 12-30-2016. Is what you are pitching here still working now for you? I'm not trying to take away from your success, but this is something people might want to know.
But if what you are pitching is not working now, no one will want the info once they find out. Most people miss these details I just pointed out about the dates.
Again, you don't have to convince me. I personally could care less and the fact you even made money is better than 95% of the affiliates out there. That speaks volumes that you did do something right at some point in time.
However, people on this forum are going to want to know what I just brought up about the time range specifics and current 2017 screenshots.
If you show people you are still doing this successfully in 2017, that would help with credibility of your information not only here, but on WaFo and other forums where the smarter buyers will see your course is still relevant to this year.
.
OP- thanks for the post. Helpful as a digital product owner looking for ways to increase my sales through various channels. I haven't used an influencer strategy yet.
The next hot product on the market "Loophole marketing 101"
I don't see it that way (or i'm not clever). Too many alternative solutions offered. hmmmThat is exactly how I viewed this post, a cleverly veiled pitch for clickfunnels. FYI, link removed.
@jkennedy
The lesson here is to make sure you are going through the appropriate channels on the forum if links are getting posted to your product, ie. The Marketplace.
I think some people get too caught up in the type of product being pitched, OP did provide a lot of information if one was looking to do this sort of sales.
Thanks for the answer! It "can" be a way to start and there is nothing wrong with a blog of course but I don't personally maintain a regular blog. I've tried in the past and realize I don't keep my posts regular like I should.
Blogs are a great source of traffic but I prefer to leverage other people's blogs for traffic instead of my own.
That's very interesting. Not only will you save time, also the need to be on your list will increase as their is no other way to get your content.
Yeah I'm asking myself how I could add value to an already value filled, content rich wealth of knowledge.I probably have a bit too much free time on my hands but in my vast experience of killing time online, there does not appear to be any shortage of content. Seems like creating value is one of the major challenges starting out. It probably helps to put the blinders on (i.e. not look at what others are doing too much).
I have a question @jkennedy . How you deal with all those free resources that are available on for example youtube? Let's say I want to know "how-to" whatever, I would just go and youtube it. IF it's not there, I would google more but it's very unlikely you can't find anything about what you are looking for.
So how then people would buy a $10 guide that says how to improve your golf swing when you can probably find hundreds of youtubers speaking about it for free? Your blueprint sounds great but I am surprised of how it could really work.
Thanks!
Yes but for that you need to do few things. You need to create value for people so you get a good proven reputation of what you do is legit. This doesn't happen overnight, requires a lot of work. You cannot just be a total stranger and pretend to sell whatever product you have (or others) if you don't have a solid reputation on what you do. If i see some landing page online trying to make me take action I will close it immediately, and I think most of the average Joes will do, or what do you think?Think about it like this: people may not want to know "how to do xxxxx" but "how J did xxxxx" (J being an average Joe they can relate to). That's what people pay for in such cases, step by step instructions coming from someone who had a real experience with it.
Hey man,
Just wanted to thank you for this post. I was just thinking about to generate revenue with the current assets i have (email list), and boom.... your post.
Thanks for breaking it down... is pretty simple when you break it down like you did.
Question: Did your sales come from publishing on amazon for your ebooks or directly from your various landing pages? Just trying to think about where to start first...
