I have this friend who I really respect and have known him for quite a while now.
Problem is, he has been looking into property investment for a couple of months now(with little capital) and first it started off with books, which is fine but now he is going to seminars and paying personal mentors thousands for their info.
I don't know much about property investment but to me it doesn't sound look good idea to invest with no money, certainly paying someone thousands to be a mentor.
He is very passionate about It and I really don't want to destroy his dreams.
He keeps talking about that he his scoping out potential properties so he can "flip" them?
Also, I don't know much about the property investment world to understand if this is a legit way to do things.
Maybe someone on here can shed some light?
Also, he is doing MLM (he doesn't push on to me) and tries to speak with 100 people a day to make X amount of money and it's the best thing ever Yada yada yada...
He is making little money and living with parents.
I do know MLM is a complete waste of time; I talk from experience.
He doesn't listen to me when I tell him it's a waste of time.
Do I let him lose thousands and allow him to make the mistake or do I tell him?
Or is the property thing legit?
