HOW TO ENTER:
1) Predict the closing price of the FXE (EURO/USD) currency trust on December 23rd as listed by Yahoo Finance. The current FXE price is 133.98.
The FXE is a currency fund that tracks the USD/EURO exchange rate. If you believe the dollar will fall, pick a higher number. If you believe the dollar will strengthen, pick lower.
Familiarize yourself with currency to make an accurate prediction.
The closest to the closing price wins! If there is a tie, the person BELOW the price will win. YOU CANNOT PICK A CLOSING PRICE that someone else has already picked.
2) Number your entry in order of 1 to 50. 50 ENTRIES ONLY. Winner must provide address to receive the gift card. Game closes on December 16th, regardless of entries.
Entries are accepted in the order which received. If you edit your entry after posting, you will be disqualified. I will record them as posted.
This thread will close and reopen at random intervals to accept new entrants.

Ok so we have 33 total entries. (Someone missed out ... the exchange rate went as high as 1.44 today and would have yielded some clues to further direction!)
However there is a hook.
I'm changing the rules.
Each number, 1-33, has a random number assigned to it, 1-10. I'll post the numbers next week so everyone can see theirs.
That number will be reduced from your spread.
Spread is the absolute value from the difference between your guess and the closing price, minus the random number.
(FXE - Your Guess - Random Number) = Your Spread.
Lowest Spread wins.
Examples: FXE closes at 145.00
Guess: 144.50 ~ Random #: 4 = Spread: 46
Guess: 144.99 ~ Random #: 7 = Spread: 6
Guess: 145.50 ~ Random #: 8 = Spread: 42
The random number can work for you, or against you.
Plus for those of you who thought they were being smart by overbidding their competitors by 1 tick, are not so safe - the random number eliminates that advantage.
So why change the rules?
It is a lesson in the Fastlane ... You can drive it, or be a passenger in it.
1) It sucks when I change the rules after you've followed all the rules and played fairly, using your brain, applying your talents, yes, it sucks....
but it also sucks when ...
1) Your franchise company changes the Franchise agreement and the royalties you pay.
2) Your MLM company changes its compensation plan causing your to lose hard earned commissios
3) Your company lays you off
4) Google changes its algorithm and your revenue declines by 90%
5) Your affiliate marketing company expels you for, well, you have no clue.
It sucks when the rules are changed and you couldn't do anything about it.
Don't follow the rules, make the rules.
