Hi All!
I don't post a lot but love to read all the amazing content shared here. I wanted to ask and see if anyone here has had experience selling to Duty Free companies in the US.
It's all preliminary now, but we have the opportunity to start doing business with one or two of these companies (there are like 5 only and they are HUGE).
Our product is high end, final retail price ranging from $120/$190 per unit. We have a decent margin on wholesale, but still, they start by asking 60% margin on their products. the upside is that theoretically their orders will be pretty large.
If anyone can share their experiences with Duty Frees (either good or bad), I would highly appreciate it!
