Hey All,

Just wanted to share my two cents as someone currently taking the course and my experience so far with it. There's two main things that stand out to me that I haven't seen in any other online course that I've been apart of and it's why I'm really excited to work on taking my business to the next level over the next year with this group:

1. The lessons you're being taught will help with web design and other digital marketing ventures, but it's not just limited to those industries. @Fox is teaching and assisting with universal principles that can be applied to any single business venture down the road. It's been my experience that web design/SEO has been a great way to get started fast in business and get profitable fast, but I have no intention of doing this long-term. I want to grow this business to a certain point and then start working asap on a product/service that has a much larger ceiling so that if I hit a homerun, it's life-changing/retire in my 30s money vs. just good web design/SEO money.

2. The amount of personalized help and guidance that is provided. I've been in courses where I've spent a good amount to enter it and after you're signed up, the person who created the course just leaves everyone to fend for themselves. This causes a lot of people to give up way too early because of all of the little steps here and there that can't be taught in a course. Dealing with a challenging client, how to act more like a business owner and not someone's friend if they're trying to delay payments, sending out the best sales pitch to get a new deal, etc. It always amazes me how consistently Fox will take time out of his day to help those out, especially the students in this new group with any challenge that they're running into.

So I of course would recommend this to anyone on the fence, but it's a course where you need to be willing to put in the work. If you come in with the expectation that everything will be done for you, you won't get a lot out of it. But if you just take action and work on improving each day, this is an amazing group for you to join.

Dan's approach (and check out his thread linked in the original post above) is perfect.

- Working smart to use web design and SEO to build experience and cash flow
- Building up the ability to sell and also a decent monthly reoccurring revenue
- Then using this to jump into something bigger when the opportunity arises

It has been great to work with Dan and see the progress and I know it is just the start.

This is exactly what the program is about and what the main focus is on.

Thanks Dan.

Related to that question - if the program has been going for two months, does that mean new joiners are already two months behind and need to play catchup (up to eight weeks of live calls)?

Nah its not run like that - we already got a wide spread of "experience" levels. You go at your own pace and you can join in/get feedback whenever.

Everything we cover is a skill so people will be learning from different levels and progress at different speeds. It was built with that in mind so to join at any point is the same as far as how the program runs.

Think of it as a gym - you can join whenever and have people to help you at whatever stage you are at.

I wanted it to be ready for anyone to join when its the right time for them.

I have gone through the sales page.It looks like it only focuses on client attraction and not on the technical side of web design. So,can it help my copywriting business if I took the course?

Ya it will. It isn’t a copywriting course but sales, communication and persuasion come up a lot.

On the selling side it will help you get more clients and larger budgets.

But we also cover the skill of writing a lot. It’s a topic I will cover in more detail throughout the year too - the new sales page will cover this when it’s up.

If you want reach out and fill out the application. We can have a call and see if it works for your goals/biz. Thanks

Hey guys, current student here for less than three months. I've been relatively mia from the forum because I've been doubling down on the concepts taught in the course.

I started digital marketing a little over a year ago, December 2018. I was running around like a headless chicken. Eventually, I got to the point where I was pretty confident in my technical ability so I got on UpWork with the help of Lex's post on getting started on UpWork.

I did Google Ads and websites for about $600/mo for ads and $300 or free for websites. And once I got these clients, I would do the work and have these huge periods of nothing. No project work, no sales, no money.

I knew what I had was a sales problem. Comparing myself with others, my technical ability seemed good enough, but I had no idea how to get myself to the level where I had enough street cred to start charging high ticket. I had a huge fear of sales because my first job was cold approaching business owners in their offices, selling them internet and phone lines that I knew wouldn't help their business.

With this course, I changed my perception of sales. It's no longer me trying to slide in a product they don't need under the radar. The course taught me how to really understand the value proposition of my offering and change my entire mindset of my service. This isn't a website course. It's a business course.

My prices have increased over 1,500% in two months.
I'm still struggling but so much better at sales.
The community members are great and extremely active.

If you're considering this line of business and you know you're not where you can be, this course is a must. I've wasted a year trying to figure out what I learned here in three months (actually more like one, the other two were focused on sales). Not to mention there was an opportunity cost. I was losing thousands every month I didn't have this handled.

If you're determined, you'll land one or two clients that'll pay for the course itself. Every month after that is profit. Light the fire under your arse.. Join now!

Feel free to DM me with any questions.

If you're a beginner or inexperienced, I would still recommend it. Develop your technical stuff alongside your sales skills and you'll be getting good clients that much faster.

Hey guys, this thread is closed for now and there will be no new applications for a bit.

For current students, the program is still open but for anyone looking to join it won’t be possible for a while. I will probably reopen around May.

If you have already applied we will give you a chance to join before we shut.

The main reason for closing is to work on the next level of content and also make it possible to have some new people join in the near future as guest instructors.

When we reopen the next level of content is going to be highly focused on how to connect:
- starting web design
- using it to get profitable while learning a lot of entrepreneurial skills
- and then how to leverage those skills to start your own “big potential” business

I will update this thread or make a new thread when we are ready to reopen.

If you were already part of the program feel free to leave a review or feedback on how things are going for you so far...

Thanks everyone,

Rob
Hi guys,

Just wanted to say my thoughts about this program, which I subscribed in around 5 months ago I think.

The content is really good, especially about sales. Even though I read some books about business before I learned a lot of new stuff, and, most importantly, stuff that you can put in action RIGHT NOW.

It's not too dense ; to me the content is really effective, not too long but still gold.

The social value is really great, it's much more motivating to see other people advance, talking about getting new clients... It changes your beliefs about this, it shows you that you can do it if you do your homework. It is much more important than studying even if you're learning the best concepts. This program is about taking useful and effective action, and that's what I apprecieted most, since I had the "eternal student syndrome".

To be perfectly honest, I had great difficulty in pulling the work myself. I switched from a surgery resident position to a senior surgeon position just after I suscribed in the program. I thought I would have much more free time to invest in the program. That showed partially true, but only a little bit. Also, what I didn't anticipated was that my new position would consume much more energy (physically yes, but mainly psychologically) than the previous one. Now I have all the responsability for every decision I make, sometimes life changing ones for the patients I take care of. Being a resident for five years, I didn't anticipate this to be so much energy-consuming.
I have a lot of trouble to find some free time with energy to invest in the program. I can see it is truly valuable because otherwise I would already have dumped it and forgot about it. However I still stick to it at my own rythmn, and was able to land my first portfolio project for 200 € even if I invested almost no time (a couple hours) looking for clients. The lessons about sales are really effective and that's what this program is all about.

It's been 3 months and a half since I'm in my new position and I'm starting to get acquainted to it, I'm less stressed, so I start to involve myself a little more in this project, I'll post a new message here 3 months from now to tell you my new results. However, even if I didn't advance as much as others, who have more time or energy to give in this, I'm still very happy about suscribing because I learned a lot of valuable content, in a an effective way (in a short amount of time spent).

It's still a little pricey for the amount of time I've spent on it but that's definitely on me, and I don't care much.

Wasn't able to get on much live calls, may be 2 or 3 top, because of my crazy schedule. I rarely get home before 8 pm, so... I found them valuable also. It helps get a better understanding for the points you didn't get well, and it plays a great part in getting yourself motivated.

I already had a technical background about making websites, but you don't really care about that since you can easily find this stuff elsewhere. I don't think it should be a problem for suscribing.

Also, a great plus I didn't anticipated is that the program helped me A LOT in my day job, especially the communicating part. Now I understand better how I can convince my patients that surgery can help them, when it is true of course. I didn't anticipate it and it was a nice bonus. It definitely helped me to get more patients that could be treated well in the operating room.

The other main thing I really appreciated is that the goal is not to make you a good webdesigner, it is to make you a good entrepreneur with a good understanding on how to get started by taking action. I was really afraid of it when I signed and I was so relieved to see that our goals as fastlaners where totally aligned with the goals of the web school.

To conclude, I would say, if you don't work for 100 hours a week, with night shifts and great stress, and you feel like suscribing, go do it without an hesitation ! This program will make you do a great leap forward in your fastlane goals.
As for myself, it might have been better to wait a little. If it's possible, when it ends, I may extend my own subcription to get the full benefit of this program, at my own rythmn.

@Fox , hey Rob, how does it work with intakes? If it's a year long program with a curriculum then I guess you guys have a specific intake period? Thanks!

We will continue on past a year. People who finish a year will be able to stay around if they want at a flat monthly rate.

This is a long term community so it won't be shutting down once we reach a year.

To answer your question - you get a year from when you join and it will always be active within that time.

@Fox , sorry I got confused a bit. Basically it's recorded video tutorials that you watch according to the curriculum plus live calls, right?
Then in that way it doesn't matter when you've enrolled...

Ya there is a “curriculum” you work through over a year yourself.

From day one you got everyone in the group to connect with.

There are weekly live calls.

And probably very sooner small subgroups of people who joined around the same time.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for joining Gar.

If you ever feel like coming back here to leave a review/insight into the program it would be great.

Also welcome to the forums.

So I'm still early into the program/my web dev journey but the first few modules so far have been amazing in terms of getting the right mindset to move forward. Fox is very supportive and the facebook group is amazing in terms of support and collaboration. Definitely feel like the program is putting me on the right track and highly recommend it so far!

This will be a very different Marketplace post. It's more of an educational post really.

In this post, I am going to cover the business side of web design.

Specifically the 4 biggest questions I get asked about creating a profitable web design business...

1) Is Web Design Profitable?
2) What Profits Can I Expect to Make?
3) What Extra Value is There with Web Design?
4) How Can I Make the Quickest Progress Possible?

At the end, I will also talk about the Fox Web School Legends program and if it will make sense for you to join.
If it does make sense we can talk more, if it doesn’t you will learn a few things regardless.

If you are interested in making money with web design or already doing web design you will want to take the time to read this proper.

Question #1 - Is Web Design Profitable?

Yes but not for most...

The majority of web designers don’t make much or any money.

Why is that?

A lot of web designers are focused on the wrong things.
They focus on all the technical aspects of web design and totally miss the bigger picture.

They put in a lot of effort but because of their faulty approach, the marketplace never responds.
This is because the majority of web designers are selling just “web design”.
They focus on selling a website that just looks and works as a website would - it has some content, some images, you click stuff and it works.

While this might seem valuable for a business it actually isn’t.
No business wants a website that just sits there looking pretty but does nothing else.

That's why most business owners will only pay a few hundred dollars for a website like this.
They don’t see the point and they aren’t motivated to buy.

When these web designers want to sell they have to compete with:
- 1000s of web designers just like them
- free solutions like Wix and Squarespace
- business owners who are reluctant to change anything

Bottom line - when you are a web designer who sells “normal” web design you will struggle a lot.

But there is a smaller group of web designers who do really well.

These are people who do things very differently.
They don’t sell web design as such - they sell valuable real-world results.
The type of results a business owner loves to pay for.

For these web designers, they don’t view a website as anything more than a means to an end.
The code and design doesn’t matter as much as the plan behind the website.
And the purpose is to get results.

These web designers can sell way easier because they know how to connect a website to bigger business goals.

How they help each of their clients will be different but it is usually based around things like:
- helping to create more sales for their client
- attracting more and better customers for their client
- removing issues that are holding back their client's operations
- creating systems to scale their clients business

They don’t sell what the website is - they sell the change it will bring to the actual business.

And businesses pay a lot for real change.

As these web designers complete each new project their market place value goes way up.
And this means their projects keep getting more profitable and easier to close.

What makes the difference between these two groups of web designers?

It isn't the number of hours put in or the effort.
I would say the group who are struggling actually put in a LOT more time and effort.

The difference isn’t technical ability or qualifications.
There are a lot of experienced web designers who can’t sell at all and never produce great results for their clients.

What it all comes down to is mindset and strategy.

Quite simply the profitable web designers who can sell easily think and act in a very different way.
They understand what a business values and they have learned how to deliver it.

I run a very active FB group with around 12,000 web designers and I would say only about 1 in 20 (5%) think this way.
The people who get it make massive progress in a short amount of time.

Unfortunately, the other 95% don’t get it.
They are doing things in a way that will never be profitable no matter how many cold calls or emails they send.

It isn’t about effort - it is the approach that is broken.

Question #2 - What Profits Can I Expect Web Design?

This question is what you really want to know…

“How fast can I make money and how much can I make?”

I get this question a lot and it is fair enough to ask - you want to know if the juice is worth the squeeze.

There are two parts to answer:
Part #1)
What to expect working directly with web design
Part #2) What you can use web design for once you are profitable

Part #1: Working Directly with Web Design

You can be quite profitable in 6-12 months with decent effort and focus.
If you stick with it it is possible to be making over 100k from your second year onwards.

How top web designers do this:
- selling in the $5-20k range
- picking the right jobs and clients
- landing 1 - 3 new projects a month, usually around 15 - 30 a year
- offering some monthly ongoing services (SEO, ads, hosting, maintenance etc)
- having the right mindsets and approach (as outlined in question one)

The progression to get to this point goes something like this…
#1) You learn the right mindset and approach...
#2) If you have the right mindset you can build websites that get big results...
#3) Once you can show you can get big results it is easier to sell to the right clients...
#4) The right clients pay the best money and their projects generally get even better results...
#5) These projects attract more great clients who also pay great money...
#6) The cycle continues...

#7) ...You run a profitable web design business

This is very different from the other web designers who have the wrong mindset and approach and can never even get going.
They work hard but their system can’t ever take off - they go nowhere.

Part #2: What you can use web design for once you are profitable

A common trend with top web designers is they don’t stick with web design that long.
It might seem weird but it does make a lot of sense - let me show you why...

A profitable web designer is constantly exposed to profitable businesses.
These are the clients they work with and the projects they are involved in.
It is what they are involved with all the time.

After a while, this web designer has been exposed to dozens of great businesses and has seen how they operate and make money.
At the same time, they have been honing their own business skills while making money.

Eventually, a point comes where they have enough experience, skills, resources, and ability to create their own “something”.
They have learned a lot through web design and now transition to focus on their own idea.

The best web designers progress into the best "something else".
They don’t keep doing web design forever - they use it to grow a business, or a product, or a service.

Since these people had the right mindset from the start they used web design in a very different way to other designers.
They saw web design as a bridge that gets them to an even bigger goal.
It provided them with the skills, experience, and resources needed to focus on their own business.

This is the right way to do web design and it connects very well with the Fastlane mindset on this forum.

Questions #3 - What Extra Value is There with Web Design?

Web Design is one of the best ways to quickly learn profitable sales and marketing skills.
There are the core skills behind any successful business.

Some of the other key skills you will pick up from Web Design (when done the right way):

> Learn to think like a business owner

Success in business depends on having the right mindsets and strategies.
Once you can see and understand how the game of business is played then sales and growing a business becomes a lot easier.

Web design allows you to get close to business owners.
You get a lot of opportunities to learn directly from them.
You will get to look "under the hood" of dozens of clients businesses and learn all about what makes them successful.

As far as business education goes it's one of the fastest ways to learn (while also getting paid).

> Learn to sell and market

Probably the area I find most fun - learning all about sales and what motivates people to take action (including yourself).
Web design helps you to master selling, persuasion, marketing, habits, motivation, mindsets, copywriting, selling systems and so on.

Are these skills highly useful and transferable outside web design? You bet they are.

> Learn to manage and push yourself

Running a web design business is going to get you in “business shape”.
You will quickly see and need to improve on those things which have been holding you back.

It is a real-life active MBA of sorts - you are on the front lines of selling, getting results, and learning to progress.
If you know what to focus on you can make massive personal and professional progress in a short amount of time.

> And 100s of other useful things

The bottom line is that it will teach you a lot of real business skills in a short amount of time.
Combine that with the money you can make and you have what you need to launch your own bigger business.

Web design skills are an excellent foundation to create your own business in the near future.

Question #4 - How Can I Make the Quickest Progress Possible with Web Design?

If you are new
the best way is to learn the right approaches and mindsets from the very start.
If you can do that you will see massive progress in a short amount of time.
You will be on a path that leads somewhere rather than going around in circles for months or years.

If you are already doing web design but not getting great results - you got to be honest with yourself.
If it isn’t working don’t just do more - look at your approach.

Just like selling web design to a client - you gotta look at what changes YOU can make to improve your own business.
If you are struggling to sell web design then doing “more” isn’t the solution.
You probably already have everything you need to succeed but you are pointed in the wrong direction.

It is easy to fix if you are willing to switch your approach.

So what is the best way to learn how to have the right approach and mindset?

Since I teach web design* I spent a lot of time thinking this over.
(*over 1,000 paying students on various courses)

- I studied the most successful students I have had
- I focused on successful people who started with no background in web design
- I looked at the best courses and programs in web design
- I also looked at the best courses and programs in similar niches

What I found…

Conclusion #1) It takes around 6 months - 1 year to see the initial “big results”

I got 100s of people I could back this up with but here are just two:

- Dan:
Moved To Scottsdale, Growing A Web Design Firm

- Chuck:
Gold: Did It: Zero To $12k A Month While Traveling The World

These are both current students of mine and both have done really well in the 6-12 months time frame I just mentioned above.

Conclusion #2) The best people focused on the right environment, not quick fixes

This next one surprised me but is the reason I shut down all my courses - quick fix courses and products don’t have lasting results.
Or at least nowhere near as good as what other solutions can provide.

***
I say this as someone who worked SUPER hard to create the best courses possible.
For nearly two years I tried with the "courses model" to help students the best I could.
Some got amazing results but I am still convinced that courses are not the best method to improve.
Looking at the data short term courses and “8-week bootcamps” don’t do as much as a lot of people think.
I am sure some people on here will agree.
***

The reason courses don't produce lasting results is that on a deeper level no real changes have been made.
Since people's internal mindsets, beliefs, and actions don't change they eventually end up back where they started.

The people who succeed long term created the right environment that allowed for long term lasting change.
They surrounded themselves with the right people and resources and they stuck around them long enough to create a real change.

Chuck and Dan who I linked to above are two great examples of this.
They are both super active in my school but also they set their whole lives up to be around things that will push them.
Dan moved to Scottsdale, Arizona by himself and Chuck now travels with a group of online entrepreneurs around the world.
It has become who they are - not what they tried for a week.

Conclusion #3) They best invest in themselves.

The best web designers invest in themselves a lot. Not just money but everything…
- They focus on learning all about business and selling
- They set up a lifestyle that supports and motivates them to take more action
- They are continually pushing themselves to become better and progress
- They invest (wisely) in resources that give them a competitive edge and speeds up their progress
- They invest in getting to know and connect with like-minded people and create an environment of success

A web designer is their own product. They don't sell code or design - they sell what they are capable of.

The more a web designer works on themselves the more their market place value.

If you were selling a physical product it would be the exact same.
In web design, though your ability to get results is the product.

----------

Let's talk about the Fox Web School Legends Program…

Quick program details:

> It is 12 months long

Enough time to get a lot of real results but still very manageable for someone who is committed.

> It is already open and active

We got quite a few members and have open for over a month.
I waited to see things were working great (they are) before even mentioning it on these forums.
We got a few forum members (like Dan) already on board also.

> It is focused on making you a highly skilled and profitable web designer

Not “showing you” - actually making sure you become this person.
The program is designed around doing everything possible to make real change as easy and simple as it can be.

> This is a real environment for creating success

This isn’t some video vault and I pop in every week to say hi.
It isn’t an ebook with some print out exercises.
This is a real community of people that you can connect with and grow alongside for a full year.
We have been open only a month and already there are a lot of personal connections and business partnerships being made.

> We have all the resources you need to succeed

There is no upsell or need to get anything else.
If you join and you have a laptop and an internet connection you are ready to go.

> It is designed with busy people in mind

Over 50% of our current members have full-time jobs. Most in tech.
This is about transitioning people from dead-end tech jobs or low paying freelancing gigs to a real business.
We expect you to be busy and we have designed everything to accommodate that while still getting you massive results.

What does it cost?

Don’t worry - I won’t force you to fill out an application form just to find out.

It costs less than $1,000 to join and then there is a small monthly fee of $150 for 11 months.

We split it this way to make sure anyone who wanted to join could but also we keep out any time wasters or tyre kickers.
Also, we spread the cost over the full year so you know we are committed to getting you results.

If you are in then you are on the team and we will be doing whatever we can to make sure you get a massive ROI on working with us.

Bottom line is that the cost of joining will peanuts compared to the results you will get.
One smaller beginner website deal (that you could complete in a week or two) can cover the full program cost.

It is a super reasonable deal that keeps the quality of the program very high while keeping it very manageable to anyone who is serious.

What is required to join?

I wrote this detailed post to give a very open and honest look at what it takes to succeed in web design.
Also, what is possible if you go about it right away.

The above post was not to sell to everyone but to give enough detail to reach the right people who this might be suitable for.

The only thing we need from people for this to work is to know that they are committed.
A fair request since we are investing a lot of time and effort into making sure you get the best results possible.

You don't need to be advanced at coding - we will show you how to improve in a short amount of time.
If you do know how to code, even at a basic level, that makes things even better.

Final Notes:

I got no webinar, no countdown clocks, no limited spaces, no cut off date.

The “deadline” is up to you. Either you want to improve with web design or you don't.

Since its a bigger program and it's very close and personal it is up to you to come to us.

I only want to work with people who can make the decision to change things themselves.

At some point though, I will close this but it won't be announced in advanced - it is up to people to decide themselves.

Hey,

Thank you for this amazing offer.
Is it compatible with Europe time ?
You say it is meant for busy people, I know it must be hard for you to come with a number, how many hours per day/week do you think is a minimum over the course of the year to see real results and benefit from this?
Thanks !

Ya I am based in Poland right now and we got a lot of members in Europe/Uk.
We work on EU/USA time for the most part so anyone in Europe or the USA is perfect.
We got Asian/Aus/South America members too though and it still works fine.

With the weekly live group calls (everyone can jump on and ask questions/get feedback) the time rotates. We make sure that in a month everyone can get on at least 1/2 calls. They are around 90 mins each. We record them all too if you miss one.

I think to see the best progress two hours a week as a base would be really solid.
Then if you need more help you can jump in and tag us in the group. The group is really active but you don't need to be in there unless you want. We expect people to be taking tons of action and focused on their own business.

Any more follow up questions just let me know. Also if you fill out the form we can send you a lot more info + videos and you'll have a really solid idea of everything.

I edited the link to include the program details instead of going right to an application form.
This way you can find out fully about the program before taking any big action.

Figured it was a little easier that way for everyone who is interested.

Thanks, everyone - got some great applications so far and looks like a few will be joining this week.

Yeah, not really explained anywhere or I have just missed it. Also, there's no website apparently? Like official one for the particular thing...

Working on a site this week. I didn't want to build one until I saw it was working and that people were getting tons of value first. It is a zero hype program so I felt building the site 2/3 months in was the right move with that in mind.

I purposely don't want to oversell this in any way - I haven't even sent it to my email list yet.

I am very much done with helping people who need me to do anything in the first place.

You sound like a great fit.

We are all about using skills to grow a business. Web design is just one of the skills but you got a lot of others already. It isn't hard to pick up web design so I wouldn't sweat that too much.

I would check out the link and then just reply to one of the emails and we can go from there.

Again - it is zero pressure to join so just fill it out and see what you think.

We do it case by case basis so just hit us up and we can go through it all.
Thanks for your reply. I applied.

I know it was a common way for people to reach out to me so quick announcement - the Free Fb group I have has been closed.

One of the main reasons is more time to work on this program since it is going so well.

If you want to reach out to me now its best to post here or just send me a PM through the forum system.

It has been going really well so we are giving this as much focus as possible. I can't wait to see the results posted up here later.

Thanks, folks.

Been around here a while now but mainly as a lurker, between this thread @GuitarManDans thread and @GoodluckChucks thread it's really pushed me to move my web development business forward, applied for the program last night so looking forward to hearing back and hopefully getting started. The YouTube content has been eye opening so far too, can't wait to learn more and take action

Thanks, Gar - great to have you and thanks for the feedback.

Looking forward to seeing how 2020 goes for you.

Hi @Fox

I don't have any web designing skills but would like to acquire this skillset.

Having read through the link you provided, it seems your mentorship program is not for newbies.

If this is the case, can you advise me on how to begin with learning to be a web designer.

Thanks.

We had a lot of people apply who have just started coding so we made it much more beginner-friendly.
If you got just the basics (know some coding) you will be fine.

A recent sign up landed a 2k project as their first-ever web project so it is possible to make quick gains if you put in the work.

The best thing to do is to apply, have a call with me or my biz partner Alex, and we will let you know if you are suitable. If you are not quite ready yet we can give you some great free resources to get started in the meantime.

Hope that helps - just apply and we will reach out and give you specific feedback on your goals.

Watching this thread.

Im wondering the same thing as @skylablu
I have 0 web design knowledge and experience. Can I still take the course?

Hey @JohnnyBme - check the above reply.

Just reach out to us and we will let you know what is best for you.

We only work with about 1/3 of the people who apply but we give everyone who reaches out some insight on what is best for them with that stage they are now at.

Thanks.

Thanks, Isaac for this write up - I know you just got your first 10k month too after posting this so your progress has been really cool to be a part of.

Thanks for taking the time to give feedback man.

Im a current student and just wanted to give my thoughts on the program so far.

I joined the school in September having just finished a degree in graphic design but I was a little lost as to what I wanted to do next.

Originally I was going to try and start a graphic design business but once I started looking into this more and reading more about web design I realised this was a better path for me. My ambition is more than to just build a web design business but this looked like a great place to start in business.

The school has been a real help from day one. What I love about the content is it is transferable across all kinds of businesses and not just specific to web design. This should be a great help when I start another business in a different area.

One of my favourite parts of the course is the community and mentoring. The experience within the group ranges which is really helpful because you can learn from the those who are ahead of you and you can also learn from people who are at similar points in their journeys as you are.

The weekly mentoring calls are extremely helpful too. I often come away from a call with a lot more clarity as to what it is I need to do next. Any questions I have and other people have are always answered very thoroughly between the group.

This course has really pushed me and continues to push me forward in my journey. With the help and support of the community I know I’ll make a success of this. I’ve connected with lots of new people and it has also opened my eyes to many more paths.

I think by simply starting one thing it can lead to many other things.

If you want to follow along with me on my journey I have also recently started a progress thread: EXECUTION - My Journey From Full Time Employment To Freedom

Hi @Fox,

Really nice thread here. I just wanted to say thank you for all the help you have provided to myself and others with your content and videos.

I've fallen in to web design somewhat unintentionally. I have a recruitment agency which I part own, and when we set up I asked a friend to help build the site in return for shares. He was on board then left a few weeks later with shares returned. Shame, but not wanting that to be a barrier I used your advice to help build the site. So thank you! (On a side note, after two weeks of operating that agency got an order of £1800!)

Anyway, your videos spurred me on and I designed a free site for my uncle's business in wealth management. He is doing really well and has to turn people away and is thinking of selling it the next year or two, as such he doesn't want a new site and keeps his old one up purely just to keep the domain. Shame for me but I still was happy to see your advice helped and I was able to create a purposefully designed site, even if just ended up as practice.

I'm going to take your advice and tips and start to take my web design knowledge and put it in to practice for myself.

Thank you again Sir!

Excellent. Sounds cool and glad to have helped. Hit me up if you got any questions along the way. Also since this is the coaching program thread feel free to apply and see if you would get value from what we offer.

Either way glad to see you getting into this and you should do well given you already have some good experience.

Related to that question - if the program has been going for two months, does that mean new joiners are already two months behind and need to play catchup (up to eight weeks of live calls)?
