We've been trying to run ads for the following products for a client in Ireland.
Frustratingly, any keywords that contain "C0VlD-19" or "coronavirus" get disapproved.
I messaged someone in Google and apparently Google are working on this but he couldn't tell me when there would be an update. Apparently we can't mention C0VlD-19 or coronavirus in the ads or in the landing pages.
I'll update this thread if I learn anything more.
For the client I've suggested creating a page that doesn't mention C0VlD-19 or Coronavirus and we can try run ads for "social distancing posters" or things like that. I suspect there won't be much search volume. Maybe we'd have to try broad match and see what Google's system does.
