I have to be honest, I was blown away when I compiled this list of presentations.

LOTS of variety and *really* interesting topics-- which should make for the best get together we've ever had!

Guidelines for Speakers (and what to do if you're nervous about speaking)

I'm working w/SteveO on the special presentations. Will post to a separate thread when they are finalized.

NOTE: Presentations listed in the ORDER THEY WERE RECEIVED, not in the order you're going to present!!! :)

3. SteveO

Multi-family Properties (apt bldgs): Planning your first purchase, Spreadsheet development/analysis, Overcoming your fear, Getting into the game.

3b (if we have time?): Staying strong and overcoming obstacles.

SteveO has also offered to lead a few tours of his apt bldgs on a first-come, first served basis, on Fri afternoon

4. Runum (please see second post, below)

-Management of rental properties (or)
-Dealing with the local governing body about building codes.

5. Biophase

10. LegacyDad

How to Overcome Fear, Face Adversity & Obstacles (i.e., How to Get off your *ss and do something).

Russ,

Looks great! I guess I better start thinkin about some info. I am a wing-it gal.

I prefer NOT to do handouts for mine. I'm in the ELIMINATE PAPER phase of my life. But I can show some spreadsheets if we have a projector - and then I could email it to anyone that requests it.

Please let me know if that works for people. If ya'll really want a hard copy at the presentation, I can oblige.

ATW-

No, that's perfect.

You could email folks anything they wanted (viola! no paper! :) )

Not sure if you do powerpoint, but that's also a great way of getting a lot of info across, fast.

We have a projector w/us, with a cable for PCs (not macs-- you need an adaptor if you bring a mac).

Powerpoint is not essential, so those who have never done a ppt presentation needn't worry. :)

Jill-- Making 6 figures a year on E-Bay is a perfect topic!

WildAmbitions-- that's awesome. Thank you. I truly appreciate it.

We're on the road right now, but have internet access in the evenings.

Great to hear this news. :)

Will there be internet access in the conference room? I was going to do a PP presentation and give everyone hand outs. However, if we want to concentrate on less paper I would suggest everyone bringing a USB jump drive stick with you in case you want a copy of a presentaion or spreadsheet that is on a computer.

Oh yeah, Russ, I can do those previously listed topics or I could do "Steps to buy you first RE investment property."

Not sure if we have internet access in the conference room. I'll try to find out.

Emailing might be better than a flash drive, as most PCs have virus scan software at that end.

We will also need to schedule the two guest speakers (Property manager and Contract attorney) that SteveO mentioned before. I still don't know exactly when they will be available for their presentations, but I do know the PM will need 30 mins and the attorney will need 20.

SteveO will get back to us with the potential schedule for these two guest speakers, I'm sure we can accommodate our schedule around them.

I'd be curious what people are interested to hear about for my poker presentation. If people have some things they definitely want to have me include let me know.

Russ...so far the wireless in the room is spotty and slow.

I hope it's just my part of the building.

Bobbo-

Thanks for the on-site report! :)

We will have wireless in the conference room, according to the person in charge of this.

All of the wireless is complimentary.

Happy to try and find out for you, if you do. :)

Worldwide, depending on the month.
My presentation is about 20-25 minutes, I'll try to shorten it down but I like to talk too much and add many stories and visuals. :smxF:

My Q/A will be more of an open forum and lessons learned sharing experiences and solutions.

Lance
