This was an awesome thread. just picked up 8 more yesterday

badjoints.com
blogexchanges.com
blogprofession.com
carsalesroom.com
majormagazines.com
removablescreens.com
vehicleenhancement.com
antiquesconsignment.com

NO NEED TO VISIT them as they are just parked. What do you think valuable for resale or development. Bad joints would be awesome for a joint pain relief supplement?

I am up to 107 domains now, some developed some not

You may be able to get pay for advertising those major magazine. You simply allow people to see the most and past cover page of the magazines and preview the first page of the top story of each magazine. All you have to do is create the environment to allow those publish company post their latest content.

You also sell some subscription only e-zines for certain niches.

That's a great domain name!

This is an interesting turn i was thinking along the lines of commision for magazine subscriptions but i am sure i would be competeing with amazon and other huge e-tailers

sorry, I was kinda meaning yours and lighthouse's domains.

I thought his "badjoints" one was great, and yes, your "myjobis" one I think is good. Reminds me of fatbabies.com, when it was a huge forum for people in the game industry to vent their frustrations. I think there ended up being some legal issues, but they did have a ton of hits.

Lots of potential for both I think!

Sid, both those domains are way too long.

WorstJobs, BadJobs, HorribleJobs, would be 100x better.

Of course they're taken, but you get the point.

The two sites I own are:

www.myjobistheworst.com

www.myjobisworsethanyours.com :bgh:

I know #2 is garbage, but think #1 has any potential?

Thanks all for such a great thread!!!!

I don't know. I think both of these sites are pretty good.

They are long, but so is www.thefastlanetomillions.com and that seems to be doing pretty well.

What I like about these names are they are easy to remember and easy to spell. Plus, their uses would be relevant to their name.

I bought Rapwisdom.com on a whim two days ago. Little side hobby.

Who here has had experiences selling their domains (without or with content) How did you do?

Three questions. Where do you search to see if a domain name is available? Who do you register your domain name with? Who do you use to host?

Thanks

I would of created a new topic but have zero posts:

I recently registered a domain and now have interest in it from another party. The .com counterpart of the website is for sale for around $3800. I own the .net name and they want me to give them a number, I was thinking $2500. What do you guys think? Any advice would be appreciated

What you you guys think about www.greensfh.com. Good domain name?

Greensfh = Green single family home

Was thinking of developing a site around how to help consumers green their own homes...just simple things they can do, etc.

I think you have a winner. With energy costs rising consumers are looking for ways to save money and anything green is hot right now.
