The spirit of giving value? I thought you were going to post your step by step guide? Giving value is not posting a link to another thread.

Also, most threads are not step by step guide. They may be stories on how someone built something, but you can't just follow those steps and expect the same level of success.

Here is a step by step guide:

Learn decision making. Then,
1. Read books or articles by as many experts (20) as needed in what you want to succeed in.
2. Devise your own plan.
3. Execute.
Succeeded?
4. Improve your business.
Failed?
4. Improve your plan.
5. Execute again.
Constantly improve your people skills. Constantly improve your personal productivity.

Do your best to always keep money to repeat your execution at least 5 more times. For sure, don't go into debt to start your first businesses. Start lean. Test your minimum viable product before going full in. Test with an advertisement to measure interest in your idea before creating a product.
______________________________________________________________________________________
You should pick some skills and constantly improve them. Examples of such skills are decision making, sales, management, recruitment, marketing, understanding market needs, negotiation, technical skills, communication, creativity and planning.

Habits to include in your life (some people might say that this is a waste of time and you should focus on your business but I disagree):
1. Wake up early.
2. Exercise daily.
3. Congratulate people on important events in their lives.
4. Eat healthy.
5. Sleep 7-9 hours a day. Make your room dark, quite and cold.
6. Meditate daily. Practice a gratitude journal or any other exercise that improve your psychological well being. Check the exercises on google.
7. Read daily. Read books that improve your life. Read mostly non-fiction books about self development, business, people skills, how the world works etc.
8. Save 20% or more of your income. Invest the money you save in an investment of your choice, as long as it has expected yearly return of more than 5%. Never buy on impulse. Read about personal finance. Study how to make spending decisions. Study the best investments for yourself. See if you want to invest and save automatically.
9. Read the news if you think it's helpful. I don't do this but many successful people do. I think it helps them take advantage of the events happening.
10. Try to automate decisions you can automate, like the clothes you wear, the food you eat. Build habits. This is done to save you decision making energy and will power.
