My accountant had told me I can write off 40k for a company car purchase. The rest is out of my pocket.

Yes. I will be advertising with it. License plate. Possible wrap or magnetic decals. Pics for ads. Etc.

As long as your advertising. It's an expense. But only 40k can be written off.

Just wanted to make sure you understand the limitations, as I thought it was a free for all before talking with my accountant haha. Good job, keep us posted on what car!

Our sales have gone through the roof over the past month, strictly from using Facebook. The other day $5k converted just from FB alone. After 1.5 years of dabbling with Facebook, I finally figured out a nice ad flow that works great... for me

I was so happy to ready this... and also, I'll notice that all discussion of the copycat has disappeared from the thread as you continue to focus on improving your business.

Focusing on what's in front of you and not worrying about the rest - that's a great example to keep in mind.

Dude you're such an inspiration. I've had some shit go sideways with my inventory, and I've been pretty stressed out about it lately. And then I look at this thread and realize you've been grinding away for 5 YEARS at the same business. 60 pages of updates.

Made me think: I have a mild hiccup 9 months in, that should barely even register on my radar.

Actually i had another ecom biz before this, didn't work out. But most of my time and effort has been with this one.

I'm not quite sure what to say other than a huge thank you for sharing the journey!
(Even when some lowlife dickhead tries to imitate you! F*cking wanker! But huge respect for the way you handled what I'm sure was a really tough situation)

Reading this journey has given me so much benefit as far as mindset and persistence, not to mention all the amazing nuggets!

They've freely offered advice, help and support where ever they could. And they've posted here so that others who come along can also benefit. Vick, would you mind sharing a bit about your Facebook campaign? Not necessarily any sensitive information. I'm especially interested in what type of ads and targeting you use (in general terms). Do you offer any special discounts for FB users?
