MJ should do add-one. “Meet and greet with Vigilante: $79.99”

All anyone would have to do is show up to blackjack table number 30 in the casino and they could have it for the cost of a few blackjack hands

Interesting thread! Unfortunately I do not have the time to make it, however, I would be interested in a stream. Will this event be posted to youtube or a similar site?

This is great. A little on the pricey end especially for a broke 22 year old ...but definitely will be attending .This will be an exiting trip , coming in from the east coast

I was broke at 22 too, so I feel your pain.

However, you'll later realize that the ticket prices are very cheap.

I just paid $1500 for VIP early bird tickets to another event, and I'll spend another $1k+ on hotels and $2-3k on airfare.

My first Fastlane Meetup I put it on my credit card because I didn't know if I could afford it. I normally wouldn't recommend credit card debt as a means to finance anything, but events like these - the ROI is so high it's insanely worth it.

The friends and people I met literally changed the course of my life.

Find a way. You won't regret it.

I was on the fence due to the cost — especially flying from the UK — having a baby, and fear that I attend and fail to make any valuable connections (I’m a shy creature at times)

But f***k it!

Money is replaceable. Opportunity, time, experience, and valuable connections however, are not.

I’m all in!

@MJ DeMarco, is accommodation booked through you with the ticket, or independently?

Scheduled those dates off for next year, booked more overtime at work, and pitching to generate more leads in my content marketing biz.

Balls so big they shine your shoes, right guys?

UK guys: anyone from the UK want to travel together? Coming from Birmingham.

Count me in, I’m only able to fly to the US only so often, but this event will literally be a life changer for many of us. Can’t wait to meet all of you. Flying from +82.

As many of you know, last year's official Fastlane Summit was canceled. My reasoning was outlined here in this thread. Fast forward one year and I'm happy to report that forum usage (users) are up 57% since then, and regular user sessions up 27%.

At these metrics I believe the forum can support a Summit this year provided the following...

A) We get an ample selection of volunteer speakers who want to speak on a great topic

AND

B) We get a reasonable level of interest here at the forum.

Here are the details of the proposed event:
  • Dates: February 7th and 8th (Fri/Sat) 8am -5:30pm (The next weekend is Valentines Day)
  • Held at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale Arizona (Room rates for this event will be $239/night.)
  • Hope to feature 12 speakers at 30 to 45m per speaker, perhaps some panel discussions or breakouts per topic.
  • If you are selected to speak, you are guaranteed a ticket and guaranteed to get it at a discount (discount yet to be determined but minimally it will be 25% off, perhaps 50% or more - depends on my final contract costs with the casino)
  • Max attendees: Shooting for 80 - 120 (might be able to do plenty more if demand warrants)
  • Ticket price: Should range in between $349 and $549 dependent on hotel costs (which I'm ironing out now).
  • Included: Food items items are yet to be determined, but minimally would include lunch, all day coffee, and maybe a dinner or two.
  • In the past tickets were offered to INSIDERS first, then regular forum users. (In the past this event sells out in hours). INSIDERS might get a discount, or first dibs on tickets, still undetermined.

So with this said, if you are interested in SPEAKING, please post here and included a synopsis of your talk and the value it might provide to a group of entrepreneurs! Expect to speak 30-45 minutes!

If you are interested in ATTENDING given the date, time, and cost details, let me know as well here in this thread so I can gauge interest. Typically if 100 people have an interest, 50 will attend. If you attended a past Summit, note that as well as that means you will likely mean a YES when you say YES! I will likely create a pre-order form with a required deposit to turn passive interest into real interest.

I'd love to attend but I have to know kind of soon if I can surely attend because I'd book flight tickets from Germany and they only get more and more expensive ^^

Also I recognized that the 7./8. February is perfect because at this date is university break in Bavaria.

@MJ DeMarco, is accommodation booked through you with the ticket, or independently?

Independently, however there will be a room block and at a discounted rate. In the past, the room blocks also sold out but if you're early to grab a ticket, it should be no problem. There is also a neighboring hotel near the casino property if you can't snag the discount rate.

but I have to know kind of soon if I can surely attend

The entire schedule/ticketing should be finalized and announced in a few weeks time, looking to get this wrapped up much earlier (and faster) than past years, this will give you months to book airfare.

I'm not trying to be that guy... but...

What's with all of the "Parked" profiles coming out of the woodwork commenting on this thread? Is there some weird Google alert set up for people to create accounts and comment here? Or do we just have this many lurkers who post no value trying to get into the Summit?

I would love to bring the process of licensing products to the Fastlane Summit as a speaker.

I have licensed my own products and coached/taught over 160+ inventors to license their own inventions for royalties.

I hope this topic would be interesting to the group!

My go to casino game. Is 30 your lucky number? Also I am at the section of Unscripted where @MJ DeMarco does hip hop dancing. Any way we will see this during the weekend?

I can also speak if wanted. I know my stuff is a little niche but can talk about starting and managing international company, insights into code outsourcing from both client and coder perspective, etc. I’m happy to share my years of experience, just not sure how many people it would pertain to.

To you newbs (not aimed at any one poster in particular) if you plan to attend this, increase your forum presence and your participating and your sharing 1,000% between now and then so people can be interested in you.

There was one guy one year that came, nobody knew who he was, he didn't speak, he literally went off somewhere on breaks (which is really where the magic happens) and we still don't know exactly what his story was.

Don't be that guy.

If you want a shot at tickets, first you have to be an INSIDERS. INSIDERS go first, and the event has a likeleyhood of selling out on the inside.

Second, don't be that guy.

It's one thing to creep on a forum. It's a whole new thing to be able to meet some of these people in person.

It's a third thing to be able to add them to your contacts list AFTER the event.

And if you don't make at least one life long friend in Phoenix that weekend, you've done it wrong.

Hey Vigilante,

Thanks again for this awesome post/ advice. I'll take it at heart! I can't promise 1000% but I'm going to be way more active here.

I'd be interested in listening to the following topics:

1. Future technologies that will be useful to Entrepreneurs

2. Strategies to improve conversion rates.

3. Balancing tasks and activities

4. New ways to make passive income

5. Plan of action to increase ROI %

Agreed, and I am one of the main culprits!

Speaking as somebody that stumbled across this forum, which lead to me buying and reading unscripted , as well as subscribing to the inside, I have certainly added nowhere near as much value as I’d hoped!

I made the investments to hope bring out the best of me. Quite frankly, the additional dough should add to the accountability of actually doing something. But it hasn’t yet. My actions are far from congruent with my words!

I’m a nobody that’s ruled myself out of this which I am very disappointed about. That being said, being aware of these events does resonate and I think stokes the fire. Missing out on this stuff gives another kick up the a$$!

Hope you guys all have a great time. I’ll be there in 2021.

I look forward to reading back on this post next year!

Let's see your execution thread ;) What can you do now that puts you one step, one skill, one daily routine closer to your goals?

We need to have more interaction in our “execution threads” because I see a lot of threads started and they don’t get a lot of replies. This will be a win ^3 for the OP, forum and commenters.

Yeah!: pollice su:
I'm Italian and it's really difficult for me to cross the world to be present at the event

I am a German student who earns probably way less than you. Still I will safe up enough money until February and attend. It's only about how much you want it.

What kind of weak bullshit excuse making is this?

How much money do you need to attend?
How much time off or whatever do you need to attend?

What five things could you do today to make that happen?

Entitled to your opinion, but I’d need to quit my job to be able to attend this due to having no vacation left. I’d love to take the plunge and quit the job, but haven’t built anything yet to enable me to do so.

I can afford to attend, but just can’t get to the US in Feb, but not willing to risk losing the day job and then possibly the house to attend this year. I’m all for taking a risk, but I have responsibilities as I’m sure others also have.

Currently on honeymoon which is another ‘weak bullshit’ excuse to be doing nothing in respect of building a business..

Appreciate the sentiment that you are trying to push things along, but other things are at play here.

Yes, that is an excuse, but a valid one to me.

@SIDI look at your posts above. it is the negative and downtrodden state of mind that is weak.

life happens. maybe you cannot go. cool.

the negative mindset is your enemy.

reframe your earlier post by ending with the three things you are doing to make it happen!
give yourself some credit and build yourself up. then get some shit done!
