The 2016 Summit is still a year away but it's time to start thinking about WHO would be great for a presentation next year!

As evidenced by @Eskil, a lot can happen in ONE YEAR. Who will be next year's Eskil? If you missed it, at last year's meetup, Eskil was simply in the IDEA stage. This year he has a business, a product, and six-figures in preorders.

So without further adieu, who would you like to hear from?
Who's building a great story?
What potential success story is lurking here on the forum!?

From this year's meetup...
--------------------------------

@Iwokeup -- Growth story (personal care space)
@AllenCrawley -- Growth story (personal care space)
@pickeringmt -- Growth story (personal care space)
@Jill - blowing up a luxury tie business (and deducting world travel in the process!)
@Eskil - further growth?
@AndrewNC - Whatever he's got going on?
@JasonR - New business growth story?
@benhebert - Continued growth story? A big sale?
@throttleforward - How to take an INE from this forum and crush it in one year or less?

And from those who couldn't make it, but we'd love to HEAR from next year!
--------------------------------

@Vigilante -- selling a company and the end game.
@Likwid24 -- Shark Tank follies and getting mass distribution for your product.
@ChickenHawk -- Self-publishing insights, from quitting your job to self-pub'er extraordinaire.
@DennisDuty - Kickstarter, game design, video
@Vick - Building a luxury brand
@TJPB - Building a fitness brand
@PaulRobert -ECommerce
@G_Alexander - Ecommerce / Real Estate
@snowbank - Tales from the podcasting world
@Kerin12 - leveraging Amazon, ebay, and other channels

Who else will have an extraordinary story of change and growth??

Let's hear it!

Well, I certainly (just yet) cannot play in the same league as the names mentioned above (That's kind of like a minor league player getting picked to play in the all-star game) but I was serious in my post in the main thread that I would love to present next year... however, being that I am working in the personal care space, you already have some killer candidates there.

That said, I think the value I took from this year's event was in the sheer diversity of the presenters and how each one of them offered something unique and completely relevant to all of us. Siting @Eskil's presentation specifically, I not only took a huge amount of value from his story, but also inspiration for what anyone who applies themselves can do in a year. In feeding off of that emotion even further, I think a great way to start off the meetup next year would be to have a presentation that highlights 4-12 stories from fastlane members who attended this year, with little more than an idea and some ambition, and talk about how they applied what they gained from this year's meetup (knowledge, relationships, etc.) to grow their own story.

I am volunteering myself to take applications from those members who fit that description and then interview them for their stories. Then, in the 1-hour time period, tell as many of those stories as possible. The goal of the presentation and the value I would hope to convey is to emphasize not only what can be accomplished in one year, but how important and life changing it is, especially for the first time attendees, to take everything in at the event, network with others and continue to take action. If accepted, I plan to tell my story as part of that group, succeed or fail.

Challenge accepted!
And yeah I would also love to hear from some of those who couldn't make it this year that you listed.

I like your idea too, @thorn about checking in on a select group of people who did what they could for big changes from 2015-2016.

Jesus! Nothing like having a FLF-wide accountability group! :O Thank you, though. I'm honored.

That said, we (the Wife and I) accept the challenge. We want massive change to happen too!

Second @thorn's idea. I think that's pretty great.

I'm definitely coming next year!! I have so much to share. I'm upset I couldn't make it this year. Sounds like it was amazing as usual.

Hey @MJ DeMarco, along with this thread you might want to open up a ticket presale thread and pin down some dates for the rest of us. ;) Send me an invoice for tickets and I'll book my flights tomorrow.

I missed this year's meet up but I'm itching to commit to 2016's!

This is MJ's deal, but, YOU need to keep an eye out for tickets. It's not MJ's responsibility nor anyone else's to hold a ticket for you. I'm guessing next year's meet up will sell out just as fast.

Set alerts on your phone, check every day, whatever. Don't leave it up to anyone else. YOU make it happen. :)

Agreed @JasonR! It wasn't meant as anything negative. I found the book, forum and joined the INSIDERS too late to commit to the meet up this year. So I'm willing to pony up now to ensure I don't miss it next year. :)

-Ive taught many the military organizations in the USA how to react and thrive in survival situations- I could present about how to breathe deeply and make sound decisions in the face of adversity...

I give this presentation to hot duty professionals and law enforcements when I teach the lot how to defend themselves in a high stress environment without making poor choices

- How to leverage Reddit to jumpstart your Kickstarter

- How I lost $40,000 on Kickstarter and how others can prevent it (When you violate the commandment of control)

-How I applied Watchmaking to systematically grow a business

-How I balance my day time job, family, social life, and run 2 businesses at the same time with extra time to spend

-How to Fight like Bruce Lee, Lift like Superman, and Think like Jason Bourne (Modafinil and other mental stimulants, Workout regimens, supplements, and Anabolic Steroids, Martial Arts/Self Defense)

I am working on 2 stories.

1. How to live for free internationally by investing in apartments around the world for lifestyle and profit.

2. Podcasting. My show launches later this month.

Honored to be listed with all these awesome Fastlaners. Definitely a great challenge and I will more than likely be attending next year.

Lately, I've been getting pretty creative with my strategy, so I haven't been as active on the forum.

After our late-night pow-wow at the bar, I'm ready to be your case study, Bobby! Just gotta sell my house to get the equity out, then find three great places I wouldn't mind visiting to check up on my investments!!
