Actually, not so much pissed-- it was more of a learning experience for all of us.
We now give more weight to people who have put their money where their mouth is-- and made it out to a B&P.
Yes, it does open up the criticism that the people who are locals will obviously come b/c it's cheaper.
This criticism has been raised many times, and always seems to come from someone who is a) not a Phx local, and b) has never, ever come to an event.
Since we've had folks come from thousands of miles away (some even bringing their own camels, like bflbob), it makes sense to have it where the "doers" can make it.
. . . even if that doesn't seem fair to those who have never come.
