Hello!
I have a coffee shop in Russia which is doing well. Over 80 percent of all sales come from coffee, other sales are ice cream, milkshakes etc. The weather is finally getting better and people want to get some cold drinks. I heard that Nitro coffee is pretty popular in America and I want to start selling it here too. I think it might be a good selling item, since the need for coffee is high where my shop is. Now as for this moment nobody is selling it and most people have never heard about it in my city. What do you think would be the best way to market this item? Any tips or advice would really be appreciated.

Nitro coffee is a cold brewed coffee infused with nitrogen, tapped like a beer.

@MichaelLekker You could add it to your existing offers and see how the "marketmind" reacts to it.

I think of what McDonalds restaurants and other companies do: They test before adopting new items.

They'll put a test item(s) on the menu, maybe only at a certain number of "test pilot" restaurants, and see how well it does.

Based on the performance numbers, they decide whether to roll it out to other restaurants, or not.

You could make a quick promotionnal poster or write something like that (translated, of course).
This is just a template, adapt words and make sure to take into account how the population sees the American market. Don't write something like this if people dislike America:

Taste The Freedom
NEW THIS SEASON - American Nitro Coffee $7.99 *$4.99*

I never did copywriting in my life, so this probably sucks. I'm just trying to give you ideas.

Yes, I agree. Either way I will have to add it to the menu for a period of time and see the reactions

I just got offered a new advertising place outside the mall, so might get a banner there yeah.
People love trying foreign things and most people are positive about Europe and America, so I think if I advertise it as an American coffee that might work well.

As you said you have already an established coffee shop, So if you want to add another type of coffee, you can start it as an exciting offer to your loyal customers. Or you can advertise it through social channels or banners.

A few tips:
  1. Create life-long customers with rewarding loyalty cards
  2. Promote your offers with high-quality posters
  3. Create a low-cost special offer with free refills
  4. Reel them in with free samples
  5. Create a snappy pavement sign for people in a hurry
  6. Focus on high-traffic areas with low-cost flyers
  7. Start a real relationship with your local businesses

I think you can try this coffee with your regular customers. Then take some honest review from them and go for the next step. Hope it works.
