Despite his poor vocabulary ("you know, x y z, you know that, ekhm... you know (...)") and poor video recording skills, he was right about this place.

Several months ago there was a guy who posted a 10 minutes video "Most of you'll never make it" telling people on this forum they'll never accomplish whatever they want to accomplish.
Your response was...?
"F*ck off" demonstration.

(Obviously the topic has been deleted as I cannot find it anywhere, hence I can't give you a link or name of the guy.)

MJ's statement that: "Being on this forum alone gives you ≈ 40% chances for succeeding" is very likely to be incorrect.

I'm so sorry for being an arrogant, self-righteous and foolish nineteen years old prick telling you, my older fellows, that you're probably not going to make it (how could I do that anyway?!) but this forum is not a place full of successful people and despite it might be a gold mine at the beginning, it isn't in the long term. Here's why:

  • Once this guy had a business, most of people here still struggle with ideas or, oh gosh, spend most of their time writing about things they have no idea about, e.g; I haven't started my business yet (probably will never start anyway), but hey, let me post something on a Fastlane Forum about why people fail in businesses or five steps on how to be a millionaire,
  • Most people here are so absorbed with so-called self development and other motivational crap that I cannot understand how is it possible for human being to fool themselves so much... All motivational stuff have one ultimate goal; confuse you to the point when you'll say to yourself: "I'm not ready yet", hence making you to buy and keep buying all those great courses on "fast reading", "motivation", "establishing new habits" etc. because you know, the guru said it's impossible to "be successful" without ability to read 150 pages of a hardback within one hour, ETC,
  • Despite MJ's statement that this forum is not a place for people who: "likes to slay chicks" and he will instantly remove this kinda topics, they appear and stay on this forum anyway. Again, all this pick-up shit is another of those self called "gurus" rubbish which ultimate goal is to confuse you to the point where you'll sit on your a$$ reading some motivational crap and buying another product... So they can confuse you even further... And make you spend money on products made by gurus contradicting themselves till the end of your life,
  • The bottom line of two previous points is "bro-marketing", and I think everyone here knows what this thing is,
  • Action fakers everywhere; which links to the most of previous points,
  • Despite this forum being based on two great books, people here still believe in scripted dogmas, hence stupid arguments about unimportant things,
  • Tell me something; does searching for GIFs with: "WTF???!!!" and a guy with some stupid mimic in order to post it on a Fastlane Forum is what "successful people" do on daily basis? Please, don't get me wrong; I don't mind GIFs and a humour, but for F*ck sake, everything has it's limits!

Sorrow fills in my heart because till now I've met only one real person that is interested in doing something more with their life rather than progressing from one job to another as everyone else does etc, hence I found this forum very helpful because I could read something from people who've already made it or want to make it, but I'm afraid it's not working in the long term because of the points I have made.
Most of you WILL NEVER make it! And the guy posting that video was right!

Perhaps I'm wrong and I'm indeed too cocky... Nobody knows at this point.
Time will show who was right about it; was it me, 19 years old, naive, dumb, arrogant, inexperienced, ungrateful, irresponsible... yeah yeah yeah... Or people who are mostly action fakers and like to teach others about something they have absolutely no idea about.

I'm not trolling or calling for attention; I'm hoping that perhaps at least one person will do something more than listening to motivational movies called: "How much do you want success?" and starts doing something after reading this.

To not make it completely negative; I did find value in this forum. The reason I'm not going to come back is because the same pattern repeats over and over again hence I think it's not a place full of people like myself.
You are definitely more similar to me than everyone I know because once they're absorbed with The Idol or whether some female singer wore a black knickers on a concert 10 years ago, you're concerned about your own life. What differs however, is that you're not here because you're looking for people who wants to create value but because you want to make money; you want to create some value ONLY to make money, not because that's what you truly believe is a right thing to do. Most of you HAVE NOT meaning and purpose other than "being happy". What the heck does that even mean? Why nobody wants to... I don't know? Be fulfilled? Be remembered? Make every person they've met a better person?
Have I stayed here for longer you'd pull me down, and yeah, it's a fact. It already happened few times.

Only time will show who's right. It might be a good idea to leave this topic here so that after few years.... You know where I'm going, don't you ;)

Thanks to all of you who are not like majority of this forum and keep it up. Although I'm not going to post here any longer (well, at least until it'll turn out I was right, perhaps after 10 years) my curiosity will bring me here few more times to read responses and see if this topic is still here.
Cheers.

Most who go to the best colleges do not become geniuses.
Most who practice basketball at the best academies do not get drafted to the NBA.
Most who work at the most prestigious companies get minimum wage.
Most who are on this blog ,well will not be millionaires.
BUT this is not the goal.
The goal is not of being a millionaire as you seem to state, the goal is reaching happiness, and ofcourse you cannot state what happiness is , for someone maybe its raising a farm, for another maybe it is owning a horse I don't know but what I know is that it is objective. You rant this forum as if all the people here are working their asses of to reach their goals ( no offence) , but many are just readers or fakers.
This isn't a 'how to' blog on making millions, such as the Bible is not a 'how to' on being a saint.
It is just a way or mindset which you have to apply to your life in order to reach what the hell you want to reach.
There are hundreds of success stories here due to the blog , and I know many of them are fake, there are much more which are true, and that is exciting to see. Just as the 4 mile run was first seemed as impossible and then broken by just 1 man and then after him broken by a hundred more in a small period, we get the motivation of success to get on our way to our own road, which may seem impossible at first, but with the right mindset, everything is possible.

Even with all the noise and distractions this forum is still a great place to learn AND to eat shit content if you want to. Way better to just spend your free time here than in Facebook, Instagram,e tc. This forum stands like the 'social media' for the entrepreneur. That's my vision, for instance.

I understand your message but: hey, why that much energy drawn into these people? This is just the world like it this, and here we have a way better ratio between stupidity and gold content.

Filter out the noise, learn what you need and just focus on your thing. Let other people live their lives, build yours and contribute later. You'll be way more productive and happier that way.

Back to work. Peace.

What has emotionally hurt you so much that you felt the need to take your time to attack this forum?

Your arguments are flawed because the reasoning that you use makes no sense.

Not sure if I should continue if you dont feel the need to have an intellectual debate about this.

And what are you doing exactly?

I'm 22, and have been using this forum since 17. I've had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside a lot of Fastlaners in that time. We all grew together. A lot of us have successful businesses now.

I don't use nor frequent this forum much at all anymore purely because I'd rather spend my time working on my businesses, but just like the books, it has a place for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to grow, learn and connect with like-minded individuals.

Stop being so goddamn salty!

I think you will get the same kind of response the author of that video got back then

Not necessarily because people here love to use the word "fu*k" but while reading your post I've noticed a series of flaws that makes your argument illogic hence invalid.

I remember that guy, his content was crap.

And the reason is because it wasn't helpful at all, he just told a couple of truisms to gain clicks.

Imagine one guy posting regularly on his progress thread and someone with similar attitude makes a comment, it would be something along the lines of "give up because only 3.69% of businesses succeed, you have no chance!"; "what? you don't believe me? look at the evidence I'm richer than you so I'm right!".

Is that who you want to become? A person that only because has more money believes he has the authority to treat other people like inferior sub-humans?

Or maybe do like many people here giving valuable feedback so others could make corrections and improve their decisions and actions.

What that guy did was the classic fear-based manipulation strategies to influence people that bro-marketing gurus use all the time.

Funny enough you now complain about the forum when the community here was the one who got his intentions right from the start and you didn't.

What next? Are you going to buy his brand new video program "7 magic steps to guaranteed success"? Are you going to susbscribe to his channel and watch him spill loads of statistics and jokes about "the other losers" trying to build a business?

Edit: Check FUD for more information about fear-based manipulation.

This is a forum, where everything business related is posted here.

To me personally ,It's been a great source of information for a couple years now (almost 3 I believe?), and I don't regret using the forum as much as I have.

The thing is, if people post shit posts, why not internalise exactly the opposite of what they're saying?Pick apart their post in your head and figure out the problem, business is made off of problems so why not get some practice in? Even the shit posts here have value if you know how to do some critical thinking. It's only all negative if that's how you see it, which to you most of it is. I believe someone with this mindset won't get very far. Having an analytical mind is much more important than an emotional one.

I noticed you don't have the "Fastlane INSIDERS" badge. Maybe there is a correlation?

A lot of members are afraid to post business details on the Outside, because too many people have stolen ideas, processes and information. On the Inside, people are a lot more comfortable to share.

The Inside is where the magic happens and shit gets done. Real businesses, real progress threads, real feedback.

While your critique may be true for the Outside, it doesn't hold true for the Inside. If you are really fed up with the points on the list, maybe it's time to purchase an INSIDERS Subscription.

The thread is in the Landfill and the OP's posts deleted.

@Vigilante reply is beautiful and relevant to this rant.

Most of you will never make it. Sad!

Here's the reality, folks. If you've made your way to this forum, there's a better than average chance that you can break the script. There are success stories birthed here every day. Read the millionaire fast lane and unscripted if you haven't already, and then spend some time looking through the gold threads here.

You can make it. Your past doesn't have to be your future. Your present circumstances don't dictate your ending.

Hopefully you didn't spend more than a minute or two with the original post. Discard it in the same pile that you discard anybody that tells you what you can or can't achieve.

Shortly before I came to the forum I was over $1 million in debt. I'm now financially free. You can do the same thing.

I think the original posters heart was in the right place, but the message was empty from somebody who hasn't experienced enough of life to know that kicking people in the balls isn't a way to help them. His type of message would resonate better on a dominatrix forum then it would on a business forum.

Oh, and at least for me, beeing and posting on this forum is one big transformation in it self.
When I started, all of my posts were Action Fakes, abstract theories and motivational nonsense. But the more I grew, the less bad content I posted.

Maybe having bad posts and threads is neccessary for the posters to grow, and at one point reach the point to create good posts and threads?

All I got from the OP was....

19 years old, naive, dumb, arrogant, inexperienced, ungrateful, irresponsible... yeah yeah yeah...

Did I understand the main point of your post? Okay, good.

Now that we've established that - let me mansplain things to you for a minute here... YOU WILL NOT GET A TROPHY JUST FOR VISITING THIS FORUM.

I am so sorry the forum did not celebrate your arrival with a $250,000 paycheck with promises of a $1.5 mil bonus. How dare MJ overlook such a thing? What a d*ck.

Okay look bud, you're gonna read these today or tomorrow - and you know it so I'm gonna waste 10 f*cking minutes of my life to post this. The forum, is not here to give you your 40% chances at success whether that stat is true or not. It's up to YOU to grab that 40% in knowledge by sorting through these posts. The forum is meant to be an easy, quick reference for people who need ideas, support or want to advance themselves. You have access to the 5% here. It does not mean EVERY SINGLE USER OF THIS FORUM IS A MEMBER OF THE 5%!

The appropriate posts have been carefully vetted and marked "notable" and "gold. The other 99,000 posts are utter crap until proven otherwise. It's in the process, not the destination. So do your goddamn job. Or go find one at Pizza Hut. Do come back in 10 years, I'll be curious to see if you're making deliveries in that Ferrari.

This forum changed my life and is responsible for everything I have.

The same is true for many others.

There are many action takers and millionaires (and millionaires in the making) here.

Yeah, there’s noobs and fakers here too. I don’t read or pay attention to their posts, unless I’m gonna dole out some advice of my own.

It’s a shame you somehow have missed all the great content here. Don’t let the door hit your a$$ on the way out.

MJ's statement that: "Being on this forum alone gives you ≈ 40% chances for succeeding" is very likely to be incorrect.

Here's one fact that is 100% GUARANTEED to be correct: Everyone, that means you and I, will die some day.

My gosh! We're all going to die! What's the point of trying so hard? Might as well end my life now since that's where we're all headed anyway!

Do you see what's wrong with that kind of mentality? Now compare what you said with the statement I made:

Most of you WILL NEVER make it! And the guy posting that video was right!

That's just a very poor way of saying "I can't make it so no one else will".

By the way who the hell are you to say that people won't make it? Unless you're God you don't control other people's destiny. THEY DO.

And to end my message here's a troll picture for you:

Again, all this pick-up sh*t is another of those self called "gurus" rubbish which ultimate goal is to confuse you to the point where you'll sit on your a$$ reading some motivational crap and buying another product...

Cheers.

You are the definition of those fat friends who try to stuff donuts into their dieting friend's faces.

You see people trying to better themselves so you just can't help but shit on it.

I look at this place like a gym. Not everyone who joins will stay. Some drop out after a day. Others after years. Some make drastic changes immediately. Others see progress more slowly. Some folks work hard every damn day and others take selfies in the mirror hoping for attention. Some folks even injure themselves because they went too hard too fast without understanding how things work. That's life. There's variety. That's people for you. You have the folks with meteoric progress, others with steady progress, and some with no progress.

Like a gym, not everyone here will be successful - but I applaud the F*ck out of everyone who walks through the front door with the intention of giving it their best effort.

I suggest you take your box of donuts back to your desk and leave the folks trying to better themselves alone.

I personally come here because it keeps me motivated. I see others who have had success that I want to emulate. I see others that I can tell are action faking who I don't want to be like. It helps me focus on my goals and with staying on track.

I also don't have many friends who are entrepreneurial minded and I see this as a community where I can "surround" myself with people who share a similar passion for being free of a scripted life. That alone provides value which invalidates your argument. Yes a high number of people who come here won't make it but if this forum helps just a few succeed it is a good thing to be a part of.

My sentiment exactly, couldn't put it better.

Seems like you want to be right, and not rich.

You also haven't put in any effort to get yourself out of the noise.

Of course most people on the forum won't succeed. Most people on the forum make an account, maybe an intro, browse for a few days, then leave. They don't try. They don't start anything. They come here in a burst of motivation and then peace.

What's the point of this post? So you can feel like an intellectual?

I don't think you should leave, I think you should make a concerted effort to build a business that creates value. You're 19 and you think you know so much, but... you just don't. That's impossible to tell a 19 year old, though.

This sums it all up. To get the most out of this place, you need to engage with the people here. People here are responsible for my current business in its entirety. People here have gotten me jobs when I was in trouble. A person here gave me an opportunity that there was no way I would pass up. I consider several people here my friends.

You've been here seven months, and contributed zero, so you won't be missed and there was really no reason to announce your exit as nobody cares.

However, that's kind of what the internet is about, right? People like you with no real knowledge imparting that lack of knowledge out to a non-listening audience.

It's my sincere hope as this thread moves to the landfill that your action catches up to your ego some day.

The likelihood of anyone remembering this thread or you in general in an hour much less in a decade is zero.
