Freedom and the ability to travel a lot more.
To be able to see a lot of the world and party there whilst I'm young.
Sure, I will gain enjoyment from different things when I am an older guy but you can't really enjoy places like Ibiza or partying in South East Asia the same when you're 40+ or even when you're 30+?! I'm very much aware of my own mortality and finite time, a little too much so and it occupies my thoughts too often.

I need to live somewhere hot, and preferably English speaking so being from the UK my options seem to be to emigrate to somewhere like Australia or a warm state in the US and take a job... (not ideal) OR start an online business which allows me the freedom to operate from anywhere in the world.

In summary, I am valuing freedom and flexibility far more than material at this stage.
After I have a few thousand a month coming in to live comfortably in the west or very comfortably in asia, whilst being semi-automated, I can expand my goals to earning the millions to get the mansions and give back to the world.
Or, I can simply maintain and enjoy my time and life for a while.

Now for the strategy, implementation and WORK...

No not getting tired of my sunshine palace, but a few hours from Phoenix there is a change of seasons. Dare I say, snow.

This particular house was just a picture I grabbed from the web to demonstrate what in my eyes, is my new Lambo. ;)

At 19 years old "My lambo" - the reason for why I invest my time in things that will help me grow as a person compared to the majority of people:

Materialistically:
1) An Actual LP640
2) A Compound on a mountain with a view of the ocean.
3) Never having to say that the lack of money is the reason for why I can't do something.

For Fulfillment:
1) To provide things that contribute to the effort of making the world a more connected place.
2) Provide for loved ones, friends and family
3) Show that I care.

Would love to converse more with you all!

That's a big one for me too.

Cliff diving in Bolivia is something I'd never do, but I want to be able to at the drop of a hat if I ever changed my mind.

When I had a normal job, that would have been out of the question. I had 2 weeks off for vacation that I had to stuff all my hopes and dreams in to :/

Fortunately, now I can work from anywhere. If a friend says "Hey man, wanna go stay at my house in Costa Rica for a week? You've have a free room and plane ticket... but we leave tomorrow," I can say without hesitating "HELL yes."

That's a really really good feeling. I don't even make a lot of money right now compared to my Engineering jobs, but I've never felt richer.

Definitely! and very cool to hear! I think I have that feeling of being richer than ever mostly because the way my mindset is right now. Who knows how long this feeling can last or if it is now ingrained permanently now that I have it.

But would also be awesome to hear more of what you have going on! :D

Freedom to do whatever I want.

Give my parents an early retirement especially my mom.
Hardest working person I know. At 16 in China, she lived at the restaurant she worked at and sent home 90% of her income to take care of her family.

Seeing my parents grow older each year and just working, I just want them to be able to enjoy life.

I want to have financial freedom, and the money to travel the world for years, collecting proficiency in all different types of martial arts and languages.

Yes, I'm a Batman fan. What gave it away?

Also, I wouldn't mind a Ducati 848 Evo...

My weirdest desire (and the only thing on my bucket list) is to buy or build a full-size replica wooden Brigadier, like the quintessential pirate ship, and to sail around the world for a full year before returning home, cruising from port to port, and throwing awesome parties on the deck!

Holy shit, dude. I can honestly say I hope with every fiber of my being that this happens for you (and that you give me a call when it's time to leave port ;) )

Thanks so much, man! I'm ready to start working and make it happen.

Don't you worry, one of these days you can expect to be aboard a big fancy ship - and hey! Maybe we'll even check out those cliffs in Bolivia, because that's totally something I'd be down to do!

I'm not a lambo lover although I appreciate what they represent.

I was in the ocean a couple of days ago teaching my son what to do with big waves as they approach. It's the best lesson in decision-making on the fly and a metaphor for life.

No one can tell you what to do with that wave and you have a few seconds to decide. Duck, dive, jump or surf? Decide. Or be crushed and swept away.

Made me realize my lambo is really being able to be in the ocean whenever I want, to have time with my son whenever I want, and time to show him fastlane in action.

My material lambo is a black Maserati, a house on absolute beachfront, a little farm in the hills to grow my own shit, to nourish my inner hippy. And passive income so I can spend my days in the waves or wherever I want. I want to be able to travel wherever, whenever because travelling is the best expansion.

The wooden brigadier sounds obscenely good.

I'm sure as I get to my goal my eccentricities will burble to the surface.

The biggest motivator for me is to be able to live out all of my dreams on my bucket list. I've already went streaking, skydived, bicycled across the US and ran a marathon. I hope to build up enough capital so that I can sail around the world, visit every country, climb Mt. Everest, and build the largest recycling company that this world has ever seen! ;)

To build an empire and create a legacy.

To be interviewed on nationwide TV shows.

For my name to go down in history as the creator of X.

To start my own Space program (I'm coming after you Musk).

To reach the B mark.

Edit: Reading that back, I basically aspire to be Jeff Bezos.

I’m working to pay off my wife’s student debt and our mortgage.

I want a 2,000 sqr ft hangar with a Boeing Stearman
220px-Stearman.e75.g-bswc.longshot.arp.jpg

and maybe a high performance touring plane like a SR-22.
4267051.jpg

Av-gas money.

And enough money in diversified investments to pay me $250,000 per year in dividends.

Edit: now with pictures!

I'm pretty simple. I'm not motivated by flashy cars or the coolest new toy.

All I want is to be able to go wherever I please and sustain myself remotely with a high standard of living, while maintaining a modest home "base". I want to volunteer abroad with money being of little to no concern, etc

I want to learn French and Japanese. I just want to know them, for myself and for knowledge's sake. Yet I have no time to put the study into it with my stupid corporate job (and now pouring all extra time in to entrepreneurship.)

I want to give awesome gifts to my family and friends.

I want to actually have the choice eat organic food.

{Also, a few Chanel bags, skincare, and clothes (when they are a small percentage $$$-wise of my world.)}

To raise my kid into not being an a**hole and teach him that if you work hard and smart, you can control your own destiny and live a free and fulfilling life.

I flew in the back seat of an L-39 few times; it flies really nice but dude, you need something much more powerful (= expensive) ;)

To be able to support my kids without my husband's income. My best friend suddenly lost her husband almost two years ago (at 8 1/2 months pregnant with her second child), and thankfully she is a nurse so she didn't have to worry about the financial aspect, but it made me realize just what a vulnerable position I'm in if anything ever happened to him. I also want to be able to show other parents that leaving their corporate jobs doesn't mean the end of their ambition; they don't have to choose between enjoying the fleeting early years with their children and doing something meaningful outside of family. I have a lot of ambitious friends who are miserable because they feel like their kids are growing up without them and I want to show them what's possible to give them the courage to leave the jobs they hate.
