I've finished UNSCRIPTED a month ago and I must say I was very fortunate. Why? Well, because I managed to read TMF for the first time and only a few weeks later UNSCRIPTED was published! What a lucky coincidence! Since then I've almost finished listening to TMF for the second time and soon I will start to listen to UNSCRIPTED during my running.

Although I wasn't completely indoctrinated when I read this book (John Sonmez from Simple Programmer with whom you've done an interview has done the hard work), this book has dispelled so much bullshit that I couldn't count it even if I had 10 hands.

So thanks MJ for all the work that you're doing. These books help me to stay on course.

Now that there's several hundred out there in the wild, guess it is time to start a thread for those of you who have read (or listened to!) UNSCRIPTED !

Hope everyone enjoyed it and found it to be a good "big picture" supplement for The Millionaire Fastlane !

I listened to parts and read parts on Kindle. You hit another home run!

I have finished reading Unscripted and started reading the Fastlane millionaire again!
As previous readers have pointed out MJ has cut out the BS you find in other business/self-help books and instead provided raw and brutal honesty when it comes to business and life. Did not think he could beat the Fastlane millionaire but he did. Great book!

I've just had lunch all by myself, thinking whether to leave a review for Unscripted now or wait for a few days to let it sink in. Next to me, 3 guys in their 20s were passionately talking about Game of thrones and quoting lines:
- "Bend the knee...OMFG!!!"
- "And that Brandon kid...he already knew she had a list!!! Crazy!!!"

  • First thought: "Grow up".
  • Second thought: "I could have been on of these guys!"
  • Third thought: "I was one of them. Some motivational guy told me to write down the income i want, read it out loud 2 times a day and it will come true. How stupid could I be?"

MJ, I'm sure you hear this every minute and it might sound trivial...you are one of the few who marked my life. I was blind, but now I see. You're on the other side of the world, don't know you, never met you, but i'll be forever grateful. Thank you!

UNSCRIPTED , like others have pointed out, is a masterpiece! The first part was a little too poetical for me...it felt like reading a novel sometimes. When I got to the kinetic execution it really clicked, I recognized your direct, "no time to lose", Kevin O'leary style.

I finished it last night
First of all I like your writing but at the beginning of the book I got really upset about what you wrote but eventually you write the painful truth that people do not want to deal with and only after a few days of non-reading I realized how much of people's life is defective.

Crap, I forgot to post here sooner.

Finished Unscripted a couple months ago. Excellent read that jived with my own thinking, put into words beyond what I could ever hope to articulate.

Gave it to my father who also loved it.

Which reminds me I still need to leave a review on Amazon!

Read it. Definitely one of those rare books that changes your perspective on life and how you see the world.

Already recommended it to all my friends, family and coworkers who are open enough to hear the "truth" lol.

Finally finished reading it today. It's dense but amazing. Really liked the second to last chapter because it really proves the money system concept and shows what's possible after putting in the red-line work you talked about in your first book.

Thanks MJ.

Just finished listening. Like TMF , I really enjoyed the no fluff smack you over the head with the stuff you need to hear approach. Your forum update email which led me to buy came at the perfect time MJ, as I've actually been taking action over the past year and this book gave me so much to think about and implement.

Just finished the book today. Like the last one, this book opens your eyes and really makes you think. Unscripted goes even more deeper than TMF . Really powerful stuff, loved it!

Thanks MJ, I learned a lot.

Wow, I have to be honest - I did not pre-order Unscripted because I thought it was going to be self-indulgent and not provide direction, even though I loved The Millionaire Fastlane . But after finally finishing Unscripted , I have to say it is a much better book than Millionaire Fastlane . It's everything that Millionaire Fastlane is, paradagm-shifting with good guidance, but much more nuanced and well written. Thank you MJ!

Damn. It was by far one of the most entertaining yet valuable books I have read in a very long time.

My only concern at first was that it made me feel nervous due to all the negativity and "bitching" about the stuff happening around us.

But after the very few first chapters, MJ was really coming home with all the advice and mindset on how to think about life and entrepreneurship.

Truly a masterpiece, I wish more and more people read it.

Keep bringing it MJ :D

Yea a concern, but ultimately I was trying to create an emotional connection, pain, with the reader. Pain motivates.

The first few chapters felt like I was being held down while a red pill was shoved in my mouth and kicked down my throat.

It worked!

Finished reading unscripted yesterday. I've noticed a lot of the advice/business/progress threads (even some notable) are/or were about the exact things Unscripted shits on. Now literally feel like every business idea I've been trying to decide to put my focus on is Categorized in the BRO Entrepreneurs/E-commerce bullshit pile. Time to start over. :arghh: This time really try to pinpoint something that brings in tremendous value to others.

Guess it was just more of a wakeup call than MFL

Finally got around to buying it last week and just finished the audible version. Loved it.

The first parts of the book were incredibly relatable. Even to the scrubbing toilets part, which was also one of the shit (literal) jobs I held when I was younger.

You've managed to put so many things into words that I've always struggled to verbalize or explain to others. I'm going to steal the gumball bit the next time I need to explain to someone how "luck" works.

While I liked the narrator, I feel like this book is better read on paper, so I'm going to order the paperback version now for a re-read.

My Kindle is right there on the table, the last page of UNSCRIPTED still open.

In that small digital device lies the book, now finished, but most importantly, in that book lies a promise I've just made to myself.

Thank you @MJ DeMarco !

While the entire book is mind blowing, one of the parts that struck me most was Chapter 48 about the money system. I think it's a point I didn't quite get from TMF .
