Hello everyone,
My time is valuable, and so is yours, so just a quick introduction.
I'm 35 years old, live in the upper midwest United States.
I am currently VP of a retail chain operating in 3 states, I make between $200k and $400k per year, depending on net income for the company. I work about 65 hours a week, and do overnight travel 8 or so nights per month.
I own 4 residential rental properties, all single family homes, one of them is a condo.
My goal is to quit trading my time for income by the time I am 40.
I joined this forum to gain insight on whether I should continue the rental property route or put my cash into something else.
I LOVE rental income, as I have a property manager do 99% of the work, and it is fairly profitable (although cash flow runs flat or even negative)
The downside of rentals is that it's SLOW to build momentum. My rental "mentor" has about 50 properties, but he's worked his whole life to get there.
It seems rentals could be slowlane in disguise. How can I accelerate my wealth better using rentals?
Thanks.
