This is probably all over these forums, and is touched on in the book somewhat. We were encouraged to not worry about inventing the light bulb but just improving something. Unfortunately, being self-aware, I am likely not that smart and am certainly not creative. I do not design or innovate. I implement.
Sure, implementing can bring pain-points to light, but that had not helped yet.
For years, I have been trying to come up with a business idea, to commit and execute. I've got nothing. I cannot code, my mind runs in circles and comes up with nothing. When the occasional innovation comes to mind it is poorly scale-able, takes too much time until market release, cost prohibitive, poor ROI/Risk factors, or there is simply too much competition (GE, Lockheed, etc).
For someone in the slowlane, with 4 kids and a mortgage, how can one get the creative juices flowing? It does't have to be a perfect idea. Just one that has a remote probability of working.
