I just uninstalled every single game i had on my pc. F*ck this BS comfort. I've been on the + side, the creative, the "i got this side" and ive been on the other side. I have to say, the illusion of the comfort side, the routine, the lies you tell yourself... it's enticing. I fully understand. But, in those moments when you're honest with yourself...those are the moments you get to call heads or tails. It gives you that bit of freedom of accountability. It's fully doable, if you choose it. You must make sacrifice. It's a part of the job. Bu when you have it going, when you're firing, ..when you know what you are doing... it's like you see the world as a winner. It's worth it for the experience.And as Lebron once put it, once you're hitting it, the rewards -

This really speaks to me as an artist. I'm way past the dreaming stage and finally have something tangible to provide. This weekend I'll be working my first comicon (actually working For comicon-incredibly excited!) so this is the first step for me really putting my energy into this specific space and switching gears from that typical 9-5 sales gig.

Its truly Action above all. Recently wrapping up MFL and on the topic about execution being king and this comic pretty much sums it up. Glad to see this.

The image that gets to me the most is on a beach living the dream ...of reading books about how others struggled and strived to live THEIR dreams. Living life as a spectator rather than participant, but thinking they are on their way because of what they now know. Brilliant imagery...

great stuff, so are you are in artists alley? I run my own online Pop Culture and Collectable business which I started this in January this year with $500.. I have made it to two cons here in Australia, Oz Comicon in Brisbane and Supanova Brisbane...

They are incredibly busy and great networking events. I get different stuff out of it than you as an artist would, I use them not only for sales but to build my name and also the most important thing for an online business Trust..

I look forward to hearing how you go at your first con, good luck!

I remember 10 years ago when I started my company, I worked so much I slept at work a number of times.

And I was dead broke for the first 3 years. Just scraping by.
And slowly, it started to roll. Then you hire people (and you are even more broke, but that's another topic).

And ups and downs. But I've been grinding away.
And it feels great.
Closing in on $3M/year in sales, and it has been YEARS of hard work.
So I can relate.

That was beautiful, man. You know that feeling when you've grown a little and see how naive and ignorant you were just a year ago? I get pangs of that when I see things like this.

It's an interesting paradox. There are millions upon millions of people who've devoured a library of self-help material, yet they're totally inert in their lives, and in truth have not even understood what they've read or otherwise digested. I think the key is how you live. There's immobile and intellectually stagnant people, and then there's those who're putting in WORK. It's a a physical thing. It's being willing to expend real energy to make this shit work.
