Dear fastlane forum,
After reading two of MJ's books, I grew curious to find out more and learn from others.
Currently I am self-employed and taking on freelance jobs in the Netherlands. I thought being self-employed would teach me business skills (faster), but to be honest it hasn't (yet).
I have yet to figure out exactly what I can (and want to) do to create added value for other people.
My educational background is in Biomedical Engineering and my interest lie in (adventure) sports and engineering/technology.
My goal has always been to create mutually assured benefit, both in business and my personal life. I love developing un(der)used potential in others, for example by talking or training with them.
Right now I am stuck trying to figure out what to do next. Building a fastlane business sounds great, but I don't feel like I have the skills or ideas necessary to make it a reality (yet). So my current plan is to find a job where I can learn a lot of business skills, like business development, tender management or project management, so that I may possess these skills to build a fastlane business down the road.
If any of you had similar thought around your 30th birthday, let me know, as stated I love to learn from others.
