I remember working at subways and my boss (who was highly in debt) explained me what I needed to do in order to make a ton of money.
He was explaining to me that opening more restaurants is the key so just listening (knowing about TMF ) I realized something.
Never take advice from someone who's life you don't want even if he es preaching you another one he isn't living.
Also in my opinion giving any advice you didn't experience yourself is just morally wrong.
When we where kids we needed to listen to our parents, we needed to trust them.
But when we get older we realize we need to make our own decisions and our parents aren't the only source of trust anymore.
This can make us vulnerable to very bad advice.
But how do differentiate between good advice and bad?
We JUST listen to people who walked the walk.
From whom are you going to take relationship advice? the guy who is happily married for 40 years or a pick up artist who just experienced his 100'th break up?
But even from the pick up artist we can learn something.
If someone gives us advice and he hasn't achieved the goals we are trying to achieve, then always do the opposite.
Ah you said you are going to be rich by 35 with "day trading" but you are living in a car, works at McDonalds and is still trying the same shit you did 10 years ago? No Thanks, I go to the other direction.
Ah you read that this detox juice is going to make me lose 20 pounds in one month but you look like you've gained 20 pounds more? No Thanks, I go to the other direction.
Either listen to advice who comes from experience or just do the opposite of the bad advice someone has given you.
What is some gold advice you've given to someone and it has changed his life for the better?
