So can you tell which skill i should develop and which book i should read.
After, reading Unscripted , and preferably the Great Rat Race Escape . You'll need a specialised skill that you can monetise.
There's a bunch of them out there, but I'd imagine you can't physically go out much? (That's how it was for me anyway).
If so, learning an online skill you can utilise for your future businesses might be the way to go!
Here's a list of some I've seen on the forum:
By no means is this list exhaustive, but try them all and see which one you like best, and can bring the most value to people for. Then go all in on it!
Best of luck!
Thanks i want to contribute to the world and want to enjoy my life. Not like everyone in visual world or any slowlaner.Welcome!
Read up on the subjects that interest you the most. If you take the initiative to start learning now, you will have a huge leap many kids your age wont. I wish I had taken the imitative at your age rather than playing Call of Duty while dreaming one day of owning my own company.
Let Us know what your interests are and we might be able to give you more tailored recommendations.
Thanks i will read all of this bookHi Prince
The Book of Joy with the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu - listen to the audio book. Charming authors.
The War of Art - amazing, for those wanting to battle through writer's block etc to get art done.
The Miracle Morning - enjoy your life, starting in each morning.
The Elements of Style - make sure you communicate clearly and professionally.
Hope this helps!
Hi prince, I am a bit older but still an entrepreneurship student. Last summer, I read Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman. I really suggest you to read it
Sofia, great suggestion. I just read that this year and agree wholeheartedly.Last summer, I read Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman
good for you starting at a young age! unscripted I'm certain is a great book to start of with
Agreed with TMF .The Millionaire Next Door. Will teach you that over 50% of being rich is not wasting money.
So don't waste money, don't get fat, and sure, have lots of sex, but don't get married or get some girl pregnant until you're 30.
Speaking of copywriting...Here's a list of some I've seen on the forum:
I am a indian and the education system is not good here. It is good but only for the people who want to become doctor, engineers, etc. But i m not interested in that. I want to be a entrepreneur. Want to run multi billion dollar company. And at before 30 or 25.that's all my dream is and i want to enjoy my life.Sofia, great suggestion. I just read that this year and agree wholeheartedly.
Prince, I thought of a few more.
Fierce Conversations by Susan Scott
Dare to Lead by Brene Brown and
Atomic Habits by James Clear
There are many great books to read after devouring MJ’s books. If you’d like more suggestions, tell us more about yourself and your dreams / goals / aspirations.
One more thing: for achievers reading this, GoodReads.com provides a fun way to track your books and feel the joy of checking each one off your list. I have an All-Time Favorites shelf there with books that have made the biggest difference.
Great point. I’m glad you caught that. I noticed that too earlier in the thread but forgot to mention it. If you want, save the money you’d spend on Millionaire Next Door (unless you can get it for free) and just be frugal as you build your first Productocrasy.
Abcause,I m making a website as my first business . I dont know web design and other things but with the help of wordpress i m trying to make. My website has crashed several time after working weeks and this has happen several time. But every time it crashed i learn a new thing about how it can crash and what i should do next time to prevent it. I know book dont help me if i dont implement it. Thats why i m making this. Even i fail in my first website. It doesn't matter much because it will give me some lesson that i will have. And i can use it in future.Great point. I’m glad you caught that. By the way Prince, it would not hurt at all to start swinging at the plate early. Yes read read read but don’t wait for someone to give you permission to start your first business.
