My co-founder and I are launching the pre-alpha of our Saas Student study app in mid February. It's gonna be a Really patchy demo but we are thinking whether or not to advertise it to people nevertheless. A month or so after pre-alpha we want to launch the more polished alpha to more people
If we advertise:
Pros: we get more early adopters
Cons: User's might get turned off of the app permanently due to the bugs/ lack of polish of the pre-alpha
If we don't advertise:
Pros: No negative repercussions and people hating the experience
Cons: Less early adopters, less market awareness
What do you guys think?
Anyone in the Edtech SaaS Space who could shed some light on what to do?
