The author of the 4 hour work week + one of the founders behind App Sumo get together to help one wana-trepreneur transform into a real action taker.

It seems "mindset" can really set you back.... watch for yourself and share your thoughts.

I didn't get much value out of that video for a few reasons. Some thoughts:
  • They're not starting a new business in a week, but optimizing an existing one (she didn't really change from a freelance yoga instructor to anything else)
  • The beginning of the video with the whole "conquering your fears in a day" seems like bullshit, but good for tv
  • Her income came from a one-off by calling her friends to come to a yoga party night...until she implements the other steps, her "business" has not fundamentally changed
However, they did give her some good tips
  • Switch to a platform that allows for scale (the site where she can sell recorded classes)
  • Think about delegation and automation
Overall, I think the title "Tim Ferriss helps a student launch a business in under 7 days" is extremely misleading and goes to show that you actually need to invest time and effort for a real business to be established.
