Only those who swing and miss, get annoyed enough to know to swing better and hit.<br /> <br /> I remember getting in the ring with a world champion boxer. I did really well against him, until a point where I had him stumbling and almost knocked out (not intentionally, I was just being honest and hitting him when he was making mistakes). He then reached an &quot;oh screw this&quot; point and opened up what I now affectionately know as five kinds of whoop a$$. He broke my guard like it was made of paper and straws. Spun, the twirliest strikes you&#039;ve ever seen and I was absolutely shut down.<br /> <br /> Afterwards I was like &quot;this is awesome&quot;, &quot;finally, he showed me what it takes&quot;, &quot;that extra level of focus, feel, and blind composure&quot;.<br /> He got annoyed enough to swing and hit. <img src="/community/imgs/emoticons/em-tongue.png" class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":p" title="Stick Out Tongue :p" data-shortname=":p" /><br /> <br /> Problem for me always was &quot;who am I?&quot;. And it turns out, the answer is whoever you make yourself to be. You can be angsty, stupid, dull, or you can express yourself completely, controlled, and with a sense of melodic timing.<br /> Those who swing hard and fast miss, those who see the prize adjust and hit.<br /> Or at least that is how it works in boxing.</div>

Those are <i>my</i> choices - Victory or Death - and being what they are, I have chosen to<b> try to go as BIG as possible</b>. <b>And buddy, you should, too. No -- No you don&#039;t have to win.<br /> <br /> <b>But you MUST PLAY -- ALWAYS.</b><br /> <br /> Because the fact is - <b>you don&#039;t know</b>. You have no idea what your upside is. People always enjoy the gun disarms. We train pretty hard and as realistic as possible.<br /> <br /> Something I drill into everyone is this....When you decide to disarm a threat...when you make that commitment...you MUST follow through all the way. All the way ! Never quit ! If you don&#039;t give it your best and follow through you will fail...and in this type of real life situation..you may die.<br /> <br /> The techniques never go perfect and everyone...everyone...when they&#039;re first learning, stops part of the way through a disarm after they screw up. I drill them hard that you DON&#039;T stop ! Screw up...keep moving forward...improvise...finish it !<br /> <br /> FEAR is something I teach people to manage. We use great, realistic props and situations. People are always, at first, afraid of the gun. I take a bullet out of my pocket and show them...this is what you&#039;re afraid of ? Of course they always say it can kill them. Then I give them the statistics...the reality of being shot. I give them the odds of being struck at different distances. Reality. I made sure to not do anything stupid, and looked for high percentage moves. After doing what I did I had tons of options, like pulling my pockets out and saying I don&#039;t have anything, picking up something, cat and stringing him around, or leading him into a trap. But he gave up immediately, and walked off. I don&#039;t think very many muggers are actually persistant when you remove their initial power of shock and awe.<br /> I almost went Segal on him, but, why try to kick a field goal from 45 yards, when you have a full set of downs you can play to get you closer. My segal move was going to be the groin and toes into the diapragm(this is sparta after all), or maybe go for an arrow to the knee. Create anything. I mean anything, just for sake of creating. You must have some skills. Heck, you can record video series and get them on youtube as a private and give them away as lead magnet. Collect leads, build a list.<br /> If you have some money, buy domain and Optimize Press and create simple product. Video, audio, pdf. <br /> You just need to get out of that paralysis stage.<br /> It&#039;s better if you have some idea what kind of high ticket item you want to sell so you can be strategic and create lead magnet related to your high ticket item. <br /> But start moving. Moving in any direction is better than standing in the same place.<br /> About preselling, you are not lying if you already have an idea and concept in place, even the first module. It&#039;s called testing market. Do you think that big media houses are recording full session of new show before they even know if people will like it? Heck no, they record few episodes and if show is successful, they continue recording. If not, they pull the plug.</div>

Much like Santa Claus, the dolphin carried around a bag of presents with him. What was the present given this time? <b>A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES.</b> The kid put on the new pair of glasses and realized the truth: he was only limited by what he decided <b>NOT</b> to do. Like flicking a switch, he realized that the world was a HUGELY abundant place, where as long as you pick up the shovel then you can dig in and get as much of it as you want into your wheelbarrow.<br /> <br /> He started off with just one shovel by himself…digging for days and days, barely making any cash to throw into the wheelbarrow. He wasn’t making as much money as those in the rat race…negative thoughts would occasionally come to haunt him. Why is this happening to me? I’m not trying to rob or steal from anybody. I’m just trying to make some money to take care of my family. Those thoughts would constantly taunt him, but he kept digging daily. Over time he was able to hire a crew and give them shovels. Then he upgraded the crew’s shovels and gave them bulldozers to allow them to dig more and get things done faster and more easily. He was easily making a rat racer’s annual salary in only 1 month by that time.<br /> <br /> He never would’ve gotten to that point if he didn’t take action with that first shovel for himself…he didn’t take action for years, justifying it by saying that he was learning how to become an entrepreneur through reading books and browsing forums.<br /> <br /> Then when he hit his mid 20’s he didn’t want to lie to the man in the mirror anymore. He could lie to the world forever, but there is no escaping the man in the mirror. He had reached the F*ck it point, humbled himself to the words of the dolphin, and took action without hesitation.<br /> <br /> The action brought clarity to the confusion. It brought confidence because he learned that he KNEW he could change things, affect things, and that nothing could stop him if he really wanted it badly enough…the confidence came AFTER he took action and tested his perceived limits.<br /> <br /> And that is where he learned that it is not the money that is valuable, but the person that you become that is the ultimate value.</div>

Think about children&#039;s books which teach a lot through metaphor. So do the religious books like the Bible when you think about it! It&#039;s probably best way to translate lessons to a context that your target can understand.</div>

It is relatable since the listener can put themselves in your shoes, and it is inspiring because you hear ti in the form of a story rather than a recitation. I wouldn&#039;t buy a book of parables like the ones you&#039;re putting in here since they fit the context of the forum specifically.
