Suggestions for website content

Hi all

I am creating a community website for a small rural town (pop 4000) and am hoping to get some other peoples' suggestions for content.

By this, I mean what type of things do you think the local people would be interested in seeing on a website that is all about their local community and what would drive them to visit the website?

To give you an idea of the type of thing I'm looking for here's a few things I'm including so far:

A directory of Local clubs
Local events & activities
User submitted photos & artwork
Free classified advertising
Local sports results
Stories & items from local schools

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
