Ten years ago, I was a copywriter for small businesses. I made upwork level wages, but that was good enough because I expatriated to Thailand (where I still am). That niche has since dried up thanks to Chatgpt and AI.
In the past I tried getting digital marketing clients on a revenue share basis. I would get personal trainers facebook leads, but they all quit for one reason or another. One of them didn't like the amount of leads he was getting. Another one didn't like the quality of Facebook leads. I'm thinking of potentially trying that one again except this time I book the appointment myself. It wasn't too hard finding personal trainer clients if I charged on a pay per member basis.
Do you guys have other ideas for niches that make even $500 or $1,000 a month online spending ~10 hours a week (so maybe $15-25/hr)?
I care most about the difficulty of capturing paid clients affordably. Profit maximizing is not the goal.
While I'm working on my lawn care business, handling billing, dispatch, deployment of contractors, I might have gaps in my day or weekend where I could put hours into a side hustle just to make my personal financial situation stronger. Right now lawn care is eating into my savings as we build up our customer list, and I want to fix that.
PS: Going back into the US to do lawn care myself isn't a great option (high rent, needing to buy a car, and even get a driver's license again).
