Should I get this diploma?

Hi there!

I’m new to the forum and I have a major question/life decision coming up.

There is a New Media and Web Development diploma I can do to “level up” and learn photography, social media, web design, graphic design, ux design, and a few other design-related topics, like animation.

The diploma is $18,500 so I would need student loans and it is 18 months (9 months school, 6 months internship).

It is not a bad idea to take this course. However I am worried about being bind by the time, place, and money.

However it will provide me with a structured learning environment and hopefully more confidence to start freelancing etc.

But here is the thing, the business I want to start is a jewelry/clothing business. So these skills WILL be helpful to have, but does it make sense for me to take it? I could start an online business first, but I’m not sure what I would do other than web and graphic design.
