Can confirm. I have done therapy these past 2 years with these substances & it has changed my life.

MDMA is in the final stages of Phase 3 testing with the FDA & is expected to get approval for therapeutic endeavors at the end of this year/beginning of 2024.

Psilocybin (in the form of mushrooms) has already been decriminalized in a few states and more should be on the way.

I believe this will be a game changer for veterans, first responders & anyone dealing with any kind of PTSD and the depression (or other debilitating effects) that often accompanies it. Fingers crossed.

I would love to see it decriminalized for recreational use.

That would present a huge opportunity much like when marijuana was legalized in many states.

It would be interesting to see what lies and resistance these evil pharma and government entities fabricate to try to keep that from happening. I bet pharma will try to patent some form of this.

Im surprised a lot of these studies gained traction and funding.

I do believe the mushrooms are a gift from nature to help us. Like fruit from a tree is a gift from the tree.

The no-goods in charge of the system are misanthropic and don’t like anything that improves individuals ontological potential.

Anyone else run into twitter/linkedin "fad" people but IRL?

Just got my ear talked off by one of those AI bros today at a business event. A "process management specialist" and "business performance and results" coach who uses the "power of AI" to "supercharge local business and dominate the field". I know of business coaches but something in the pitch was too earnest and I dug in.
I asked him about what he does specifically... he says he uses ChatGPT to give businesses "paradigm shifts"... but could not elaborate- he ducked into how "AI experience" is a "total gamechanger".
Given his age and demeanor, I can easily imagine him as one of those crypto dads on twitter who swear that crypto will make jerome powell cry tears of blood and make klaus schwab spontaneously combust.
It also, oddly enough, reminds me of the one time I met a crypto bro who tried to tell me about how he used the "blockchain" to "supercharge local business and help the dominate the field" which, oddly enough, reminded me of the time I ran into into a social media guy who said he used... (ad nauseum).

That guy got banned for getting forum members involved in his scam business (among other things). He gave a lot of helpful advice and helped several forum members make their first sales online, which built up his reputation here. Ultimately, it came out that he was a charlatan and MJ banned him. That's really all you need to know about it.

There have been several charlatans who have come and gone, and there will probably be more revealed in time. The good thing is that MJ reads damn near every post here and keeps his ear to the ground, so they don't last too long once they're found out.

@IceCreamKid wasn't sketchy. I think he was deeply disappointed and hurt when he found out Zen was manipulating/ripping off people.

Last I checked, he was a fugitive with several court cases against him.

Makes you think that if he had coupled that ability to raise money with even an average performance at delivering, he could’ve been a lot wealthier today and without having to hide from law enforcement.

I used it to write a brief for naming a brand yesterday and then just though F*ck it and sent it the brief to come up with names

To think this is a tiny taste of what’s to come is crazy

Mercedes?

Yep. My last one. Ever.

I got rear ended in my S550 and it totaled and we got a GLS 450.

The S was very safe and drove wonderfully, but it chewed up a set of tires every 10k miles. I was like WTF and the technicians just laughed and “welcome to Mercedes ownership.” Seriously? That’s your answer? I should just accept something that stupid?

They BOTH have special designed engine mounts full of oil that fail every 25k miles or so and they begin to drive like a bucket of crap. Those are a $2500 job minimum and if you don’t stay on them, your Mercedes will drive like a 97 Cummins.

The GLS is just a complete POS. We barely drive it because it sucks. It just sits there and demands service and expensive insurance, in case something bad happens to it.

We would have traded it by now for an Escalade or Navigator, but now we are holding out for the new Lexus GX they just announced.
